“Honestly, I've remained at this bank since I was 14, simply because I've never had a problem with them nor did i ever see a reason to bank somewhere else. The banks' customer service has always been great, most, know me by my first name. But today, the staff at the Shawnee KS location exceeded their normal customer service by a LANDSLIDE! Today I had a large check to deposit, from a small loan company. I did my own research and felt pretty good about using it. The teller I worked with today, felt "ok" about it, but suggested I put the check on hold, just as a final precaution, and wait until it clears. About 30 minutes after leaving the bank, I get a phone call from "my regular" teller. She was calling to talk to me personally (rather than putting it all together from the information she was being told), and make sure I was making an adequate choice, and discuss with me OUR plan in moving forward with this loan/check. Unless this kind of care changes, I'm 99% I will bank with no one else. Thanks Great Western Bank, you ARE the best!!!”
“This Wells Fargo bank has provided me with exceptional service for several years now. Every time I walk into this bank I'm automatically greeted by a warm friendly face. I recently had a somewhat complicated situation with my checking account. Employee Laith Alabidi stepped in to help and was very knowledgeable and professional. “After years of being with Bank of America and ending up feeling like a grain of sand on the beach, among all the negative business dealings that came out, I opened my meager at that time account at BMW. I am not a native Shawnee person, so I have to say it was just a local choice. From the very beginning, my dealings were with Kelly Barry. She treated me like I was just as important then and has continued to this day. I've lived in Johnson County for now longer than anywhere. However, I grew up in a small all American town in another state where "everybody knows your name", or at least your family. Now this is the first time since the 90's I could speak with someone at a bank. I have to mention another employee with the same personal treatment, Jeremy. I've had some banking issues with fraud. That is awful for anyone, but I was treated as if my problem was number one.I must mention this story. I recently received the news of my brother's sudden passing. I was already experiencing grief from losing our mother just months before. Right before I was to fly out, fraud was discovered and I wouldn't have a card to travel with. While most all banks cannot provide a new card immediately, BMW worked hard for me and I was able to drive to the KCK location and receive a card! I was moving in a zombie like dream and shock state, but EVERY employee at both locations were more than kind and helpful. I know every bank has it's problems at times, but I think my experiences alone speak volumes to the lost world of personal and professional treatment from a bank.Thank you BMW, notably Kelly B, Jeremy and all tellers!”
