“Haha ? I have been an Allstate customer for quite some time. About a year ago my auto/motorcycle policies renewed there was a mix up with my auto-pay because I had gotten a new debit card, I caught it the day after they were to be drawn out and got it fixed. Fast forward to the next renewal and my auto/ motorcycle policies went up $75/$30, called them to find out why and they told me that it was because I hadn't had continuous onetime payments in the past billing cycle. I think that insurance is a scam anyway, but we have to have it and for allstate to do something like this to a long time customer who corrected the problem within 24 hours is EXTREMELY POOR business!
EDIT: I do have to say that Jon Emmit has been very helpful and a stand up guy . He has always been very helpful and quick to respond to me, that being said he reached out to me soon after my original review unaware of what was going on and made sure that it got corrected quickly and I was reimbursed. “I just switched over to Allstate today from Geico after being with them for 6 years, and I have to say… I am absolutely blown away.
On my very first day with Allstate, my car broke down and I honestly panicked. I remembered my agent Kim telling me, “No matter what time it is, just call me.” So, I did. She didn’t just answer—she went above and beyond. Kim gave me her personal number, got to work right away, and even came out to where I was stranded to sit with me until the tow truck arrived.
What really stood out was how much she cared about me as a person. She could tell I was panicking inside (even though I tried not to show it), and she went out of her way to reassure me that everything was going to be okay.
