“Please change your hours of operation on Google maps to match the store hours on your front door.
Google maps has you opening at 8:30 in the morning. I stopped in this morning to grab a few drew estates cigars before hopping on a plane, but found out you were closed until 9.”

“Definitely my favorite liquor store in town, they have one of the best/most comprehensive selections of higher end rum and liqueurs I've found in Wichita. If you want to explore /create Tiki drinks, this is definitely the first place to stop and stock up at. The tequila selection is sorted to include additive free brands, which is greatly appreciated. Also have a good whiskey and "build a beer" section.
Overall a great store and worth a visit.”

“I make it over to Jacob West about every two weeks for a 12 pack of my favorite brew (Fat Tire) Parking in the handicapped space as I mostly use a cane to move about. Pretty slow with getting out of the Toyota and by the time i make it to the register a staff member is there and greets me with that 12 pack ,which came from the back of the store; carries it out to my car and gives me a smile. Service like that... I'm not goin' anywhere else!”
“I've been to this particular liquor store at least three times and every time they have helped me. I am partially blind so I have to ask for help to see the bottles and things the lady came right up to me took me where I needed to go and explain what they were in detail and I much appreciate it so much.”
“Picking up a pack of smokes for my friend and tried cashing in a $100 winning scratch ticket. But they said they couldn't cash it. So I went to Kwik Shop and the only way they would cash it was if I spent $60 of it at the store. So I ended up getting drinks, smokes,.snacks and my roommate ended up getting $40 worth of gas just to cash in a winning ticket.”

When we entered in we were greeted and an employee came over and asked if he could help us find anything.Selection: I didn’t check the beer or wine selection but they have a fantastic liquor selection. “The owner Mark is a good person And if you had trouble in there you probably brought it on yourself. Sometimes liquor is hard to get. And customers request that liquor. That bottle is reserved for that customer. I'm sure that is why some people were not sold the bottle.”

“This is my favorite liquor store in wichita. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us helpful tips for making our own strawberry margaritas at home and genuinely cares what products you want to see stocked in store. It's a small store and yet they carry things the much larger stores don't even have. So I drive further just to go here.”
“I am leaving this review because I work here and even when I didn't it is an amazing and cheap place to buy booze. More to the point though, I've noticed several comments about being turned away for not having identification and would like to clarify for those unaware, it is state law and store policy not to sell to anyone alone or a group if even one person does not have a form of identification. A passport and a current id are the only things accepted, a picture will not be accepted and if you have the paper Id you must have the expired to go with it or it will also not be accepted. Abusing the staff will immediately result in you being kicked out, be polite, be understanding and check your laws before you enter. We have the right to refuse service and will do so if necessary or threatened. It doesn't matter if your buying it or if it's for you, if an underage person is talking about, gesturing to, picking out or helping you carry product to the register, your sale will be rejected, it is the law and we will not lose our jobs for anything. Please be respectful, we are only humans not robots.”

“My wife doesn't drink but a couple times a year. She use to drink rum, jack or crown but she wanted to start getting into drinking more wines and things. She was a little embarrassed to go into the store and needing help at the age of 40 bc she had no clue about wine. She got up the nerve around Halloween. She asked the two younger staff that was behind the counter when she walked in. Told them the little she did know about what ones she had tried before and wasn't a fan of. The younger gentleman was nice she said and showed her good ones that his girlfriend liked and from what she said, she might also. She felt no judgement and has even been back a handful of times since then. Thank you for making her feel non-judged and we will be back again I'm sure.”

One of the youngest workers helped me out when she realized I was asking questions cause I didn’t have a lot, offered a suggestion of these $4 11% beers and I’ve gotten them a couple times thanks to her. So great on her! Prices are a tad higher than the cheapest stores I normally visit. Not terrible though.”
