“First time in to buy carpet and had a great experience. Picked a cheaper carpet for a rental earlier in the week, but once I came back in with measurements we found there wasnt enough of the style I wanted...I found another that was a bit more per sq. ft., and they were willing to adjust a little to get me closer to the original one I picked out. End result was great, even my carpet layer was impressed with the quality. Very friendly group.”

“Needed 10” inner tubes for our dolly had them in stock at a $5 price. Update: those inner tubes were replaced shortly after replacing them by getting the whole wheel and tire assembly together. Two years later both tires were shreds. They weren’t terribly expensive and I guess if we need to get new tires prior to using the moving dolly, it would be worth it…..just don’t expect long term wear.”

“Came in the morning needed supplies for moving. The lady at the counter was nice in assisting which aisle to go to and to price match. A man met me at the aisle to help me find the product, helped bring it to the front, and even offered to bring it to my car. It was raining and he still walked it out for me. Been such a long time since I had exceptional customer service. Thank you!”

“Medium sized home improvement store just east of Woodlawn and Harry. This place has expanded, mainly to highlight their nice selection of Green Egg and Traeger grills as well as their famous section of Stihl products. The rest of the departments are standard where I’ve mostly found what I needed. The Ace ad is the most reliable in the business to always offer at least one great deal I’m into so I grab one anytime I come in. Unfortunately, I’ve received horrible service here many times so this is definitely not one of the top tier Ace locations. I do, however, recommend it for those in the area needing a convenient hardware stop.”

We just smile and say, "Oh well." But it does seem like a poor business practice. I'm speaking of 13th St. Ace Hardware, Wichita, KS.”

“We have bought many bricks and stones from ACME. I LOVE that store and their employees. They helped me lay out my firepit. Then I had an idea for a barnboard fireplace with stone and stone hearth. “I wish we had Menards in Texas. We traveled from Fort Worth Texas to Whichita Kansas to purchase two garage doors. Their price on the doors was almost $800 less expensive than at our north Texas big box home improvement stores. The service was great, the employees were over the top friendly and helpful! The store itself is super clean and we'll stocked. Great prices and deals throughout the store. To the Menards Senior Management team, please open a store in north Texas,!”
“Today I went in to buy my first drill. When I got home I thought my drill was broken, I called and spoke to Corrin, she was so nice and helpful, but I still couldn't figure it out. She told me to come back and someone could show me how to work it. At the store, Christian showed me how to work it. I felt stilly because I couldn't figure it out but both of them were so kind and non judgemental. I very much appreciate that.”
