“Phil and his workers are incredible! Their work speaks for itself. They built a new deck and roof over it and it is not only beautifully done, but they do quality work. I've never seen better work! They were always kind and respectful of our property and kept their work space clean and tidy. They constantly went above and beyond and had excellent communication with us the whole time, asking questions of our wants along the way.Phil does everything under the roof, including decks! I will be calling Phil for everything we need from now on.”
“It hasn’t changed.
Still the place with the tools others don’t carry.
And someone there, has probably done the thing you are trying to get done.
Helpful, not just ‘minding the store’.”
“Looked great for other animals, but the cat stuff is pretty limited. Not to take anything away from the stores image at all, for barn cat food, etc. it's great, but just letting others know that it's not ideal for domestic/house cats. Will note that everything else was amazing and the entire store experience is fantastic. The free popcorn and live chicks/ducks were so fun.”
“I walked into Lowe’s fully prepared for the usual experience: wandering the aisles like a confused extra in a home improvement documentary, slowly accepting that help is more of a concept than a service. Instead, I found Doug.
Doug spent a solid 20 to 30 minutes helping me track down a ridiculous assortment of small irrigation parts, the kind of items that all look identical until you realize they absolutely are not. He didn’t rush, didn’t sigh, didn’t give me the “aisle 17, good luck” treatment. Just steady, patient help like it was a perfectly reasonable way to spend part of his day.
He’s an older guy with white hair, the kind of person who looks like he actually knows how things work because he probably does. Friendly in a way that feels genuine, not rehearsed. The real test came a week later when I saw him again, and somehow he was just as upbeat, like helping customers wasn’t slowly draining his will to live.
In a place where finding assistance can feel like spotting wildlife, Doug is a rare and welcome sight. He turned what should have been a mildly frustrating errand into something almost pleasant, which feels suspiciously like good customer service.
Lowe’s could use about ten more Dougs. Until then, I’ll take my chances and hope he’s on shift.”
“The customer service at this store is truly the best—not just compared to other hardware stores, but any store I’ve been to. The staff are always willing to help, kind and patient with my kids, and they’ve even gone out of their way to help me load heavy items into my vehicle. It’s rare to find a place where you feel genuinely cared for as a customer, but this store delivers every time.”
