“I love this store because of the atmosphere and how welcoming it feels. I have been there many times just in the past year because they have so many different things you can look for. Every birthday that has come up, the first place I visit is Bizarre Bazaar because I know I can find something for everyone. My family loves to stop by every so often and I find myself leaving with something new every time because of how many things they have that I didn’t know I wanted. One day in particular, my mom and I were shopping for my younger cousins for Christmas and we found them both the most perfect presents and I also decided to get something for myself as well as I found many things I knew I would come back for for future presents.”

In the past, I purchased a KitchenAid stand mixer that is still going strong after several years, and today's find was a Vintage Favorite Piqua Ware Scotch Bowl. I'll use it as a Dutch Oven for cooking and baking bread. It's a great cast iron piece that new on Am-z-n would cost me almost 2x more. I'd much rather support a local owned business that helps our community.”

“This shop is alot of fun to go into. There are a variety of different and fun things to look at along with vintage items. Wendy does a beautiful job in refinishing furniture...and more. My husband and I took in an old potato bin. She painted it and decoupaged it...she did an amazing job and was so helpful in her suggestions. I highly recommend her shop and her skills and talents.”

I don't think that I would've paid more for it brand new, maybe a bit less, but it looks brand new, so I'm happy with my purchase. I saw another coat hanging up front that was really cute. “I went looking for a specific weight of yarn for a project and found every weight but the one I was looking for. This store didn't have as big a yarn selection as the Hyde Park store does. It's convenient in a pinch, but I think I would rather make the trip to Hyde Park where the selection is larger.”

“Their brand of yarn, I LoveThis Yarn, both acrylic and cotton is some of the softest yarn I've ever worked with. Plenty of color choices, too! They didn't have enough on hand of a color I needed, but I asked for a Raincheck, and had the yarn by the next week. They even honored the sale price.”
