I'd go as far as labeling this place the 'Cheers' of vet clinics! It's a place where everyone knows your name, your pets names, and they make you feel at home as soon as you walk in their doors.

2010 Russellville Rd, Bowling GreenOur cat Flash, was seen at the clinic on 1/8/2026 for booster shots and treatment for wounds on her side. We were seen with minimal wait time by Dr. Don Denton, and professional staff. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes.
We have had two other pets treated at Westgate during the seventies & nineties. After all these years, Dr. Don is still the best, and now, the most experienced in the area.

All Creatures Animal Hospital
942 Lovers Ln, Bowling GreenI had to have my hedgehog euthanized so I had to find a vet that handled exotic animals and All Creatures was about an hour from me. The lady at the front desk was very sympathetic. When I went back into a room the vet was extremely kind, she let me explain what was going on and get emotional, and listened to my concerns about doing the right thing or not. She assured me that she would examine Crunchy thoroughly once he was sedated to make sure. Afterwards, she brought him out in a pretty box with flowers on it and told me he had a big cancerous tumor and that's the reason he couldn't walk anymore, and that euthanasia was the right decision. It made me feel so much better. She also made two rounds clay imprints with his paw prints and name on them. Then she let me go out the back door and pay on my phone since I was upset. I thought it was the kindest thing for a vet to do after you lose a friend. If I could rate All Creatures higher than 5 stars I would. And the price was so reasonable.

I was immediately impressed with the amount of knowledge about behaviors and specifically about shaping dog behaviors. Each weekly session worked on skills learned the previous weeks and before I knew it, Daisy was mastering skills she needed to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. If you want a well behaved dog and need guidance (let's face it, we all do) Get professional help and choose Good Boy. I could not be more pleased with Daisy's success.

I never had a worry about CoCo’s care or comfort while I was gone because she could not have been in better hands! Because of Jordan’s expert care, extensive veterinary experience, and love of pets I never had a worry about CoCo which made for a very stress-free trip. Jordan is super-personable, super-experienced and super-professional…the absolute, perfect combination!!! I so appreciated the pics and updates that Jordan provided to me while I was so far away! That was so very special, an extra jewel of a service that was not expected but to a pet parent seeing pics and receiving text updates was priceless. My very good friend who has multiple pets recommended Jordan to me and I am so happy that she did. Jordan is truly the perfect pet sitter. Seriously, all I can say is Wow!!! Prepare for a stress-free trip when Jordan cares for your pets while you are away. She is without a doubt THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! 1640 Scottsville Rd, Bowling GreenWe stopped by this place after picking up my kiddo from WKU because it had great reviews and the food looked great. It was a Sunday morning around 11 so naturally pretty busy but not overwhelming. There is not wait staff or hosts so you just go up to the counter to place your order and you're given a number. Although there are a good amount of seats, I can see how you could get stuck waiting on a table based on timing. Nevertheless, we had a couple leave their table and we were able to get it. My only complaint was that there was not a staff member taking care of cleaning the tables in the dining room, so we had to clean it ourselves. The food came out pretty quickly and I was extremely happy with it. We got the Avocado Toast and split it since it's a pretty big portion. I wish the bread was a bit toastier but still good. I would run through a wall for the stuffed Nutella waffle though. Absolutely delicious. Nothing else to say about that. Even if you order other items, get one to take home and you won't be sorry! Overall a good experience and we'd definitely stop by again when we're in town!

They were nice and generous enough to add them into their menu rotation this week and that right there from the jump says alot in a very positive way about this establishment. This is probably the best Texas style or BBQ in general I've probably ever had hands down. The smoke, the flavor, the sauce and the quality is absolutely top tier. If this place was in Indy I would be going here religiously without a doubt. If you're looking for elite BBQ, great options and friendly folks this place is it. This place is a BBQ gem not just for the area of Bowling Green but the state of Kentucky. 10/10 amazing BBQ and would recommend time and time again and will be going here anytime I'm in Kentucky.

I had the four-vegetable plate with mac ‘n cheese, broccoli salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The green beans were well seasoned and still had some bite left. The mashed potatoes were rich and creamy, and the mac ‘n cheese was solid. The broccoli salad was a little sweet and mayo-y for my personal taste but still made with evident care. I also enjoyed the corn cake. It seemed made from a mix of cornmeal and flour and was slightly sweet.
The lady who took my order was very helpful and gave me a run down (and a free drink!) when I told her it was my first visit.

We were taken very well care of by our server but the GM went out of his way and took care of our food because I had mentioned losing a gift card and dropping it in the building the last time I visited. While our food wasn’t expensive, it was the act of taking care of us that really made a difference. I misplaced my gift card and I was okay with that. However, the GM going out of his way to do this was something I never could have asked for. This man is the perfect example of a great leader and deserves to be recognized everyday he’s in the building. Our experience was already great and we were happy but this is the going above and beyond that those in the industry should strive for. Double Dogs is lucky to have this leader at their BG location.
