“Gabe's has items that are different from all the other department stores. The prices are reasonable. This was the first year I did Christmas shopping for toys there. The selection was phenomenal. I couldn't decide. Abundant with unique choices for girls and boys. I scored the coolest robots for my Grandson. There was many to choose from so I bought 4! Gabes doesn't come to mind when I think toys. I left with my cart filled with all the gifts on their lists. And still had plenty of cash in hand to get myself some pleasure items. Gabe's is on my way home....so stopping their often.”

Super friendly staff. Very helpful and attentive. Beverly is my absolute favorite outta everyone. Clearance is ALWAYS fairly good size. Multiple islands. “This was my first time shopping here, but was able to get so many things for just starting out, and stay in my budget. The ladies who worked there were very helpful, and the cashier, Dalton was very friendly. Most of the things were priced on the package, but a number of things in the aisles were kind of piled together with next to no prices for them showing on the racks. Otherwise, the store was well stocked & open until 10.”

“I go in here several times a week. I pick up items that I need here and their staff is always friendly knowledgeable, can tell you where the item is. Just wish they would fix the self checkout line air conditioning be nice. I think they got that I'm not sure I haven't been in this week. Anyways if you're looking for good deals this is the place to go I highly recommend this.”

“I shop at both dollar general next door and family dollar! Dollar general is rarely open because of being short staffed and they have more inventory in the aisles then on the shelves. While at family dollar James who is older and disabled is always there and their aisles are clear! In a society where healthy people sit and bum with cardboard signs James works his tail off almost everyday! No excuses people! This man is an inspiration to many and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! God bless you James keep up the hard work!”

“Convenience= more expensive and close to out of date products. Just be aware of dates.The store itself was fairly clean, employees were friendly and they carry a pretty wide assortment of products. I definitely hit this place when I don't have time to waste in Krogers.”

“In reply to the other Karen's. Yes, I have also seen the sign on the door, and although it may not be the nicest rule, I don't disagree. The schools in the area don't have bus transportation so when multiple kids are coming in rough housing as the manager said (I'm sure on more than one occasion) I would probably be fed up too. The kids are getting out of hand and parents are not taking responsibility or care. Don't give a business a bad review based on this. Businesses are tired of being built in babysitters. I will say this store is always so much cleaner than the one off of Turfway/Burlington pike and the people are friendly.”

“I love having a Dollar General in the neighborhood! A few years back, they had closed for a short period to restructure the store, changing the layout to match the other Dollar General stores which was the best thing they could have ever done! The store is clean and the items are easy enough to locate. They undoubtedly have the best prices around on laundry detergent and cleaning supplies and you will always find a digital coupon for additional savings, it's what keeps me coming back. The employees are friendly and willing to help. I surely hope that Corporate recognizes what they have in their employees there. Having worked retail myself, years ago, its not always easy, especially when having to deal with the public however they do a great job of it!”
