“When I was eight years old in 1992 my grandmother and I were pulling out of the parking lot of this gas station (it was a BP back then), and we were tboned by a loaded coal truck. My grandma was killed, and I was flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital, in Huntington, WV. We were driving a tiny little white Chevrolet Chevette hatchback. There was nothing left from what I'd seen in the aftermath photos. We were headed toward Paintsville to visit my aunts at the pay lake they were running at the time. The gentleman who was driving the semi truck had a wife and a young daughter both in the cab of his truck, everyone survived, thankfully. They were taken to Kings Daughters. The date of the accident was September 11, 1992. My grandma's name was Deloris Elliott. My name is Christopher Elliott. I'm posting this out of curiosity if anyone knows about the accident or knows the family who were in the truck. I've wanted to reach out for most of my life and express my forgiveness to the man who was driving. ?”

“I am on vacation for the week and needed to refuel before going on the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway, so I stopped at Marathon after coming in from West Virginia and the cashiers were friendly, asked if I needed a receipt. I did not purchase anything else but it seemed like there was a nice selection. Restroom clean did the job.”
