There was a very small selection of juniors clothes but there was still quite a bit when we went to check out the lady that was checking us out had a nasty look on her face and I was trying to do some jokes with her t on be friendly towards her but she just gave Me a nasty look and ignored my questions!”

“The store is nice and everything is organized and well displayed. I've shopped at this location multiple times. The staff could be a bit friendlier. You could be the only customer in the store and they don't even say hello or make eye contact. Even when checking out they say nothing. It creates an uncomfortable tension which makes you want to leave. A simple hello to acknowledge a customer's presence would be nice and create a more welcoming atmosphere. But aside from that it's a decent store.”

“I was visiting family and took my daughter to Kenwood mall to go shopping. I saw The Buckle and got excited, because I haven't been to one in 20 years. I moved to a state where they are not around. We went in and Meg was there to help. I haven't been able to find a good pair of jeans that fit me, without wearing a belt, for the past 15 years. So I knew exactly what I was looking for. I quickly gave her my specs, she asked me some more detailed questions, and started pulling different types of jeans for me. Everything she pulled was right on point! I ended up buying 2 pairs of jeans. My husband came in and she gave him the same attention. He is really picky when it comes to the way his clothes fit, so he didn't like any of the jeans she pulled. But after talking with him again, she pulled one last pair and he loved them! I don't think I have ever experienced customer service like this before in a clothing store. Meg was not pushy at all. She listened to what we wanted, even offered some extra top choices for my daughter. I wish I lived closer, because I would start buying my clothes from her at The Buckle. She was very thorough and absolutely amazing. I hope that The Buckle Corporation sees this and gives her a promotion and/or a pay raise. She is the epitome of what a Buckle representative should be. Meg, thank you so much for your time and expertise today. If you ever need a resume recommendation, I will GLADLY give you one! Great job!”

“We went for my son's birthday treat bear & a giant Pikachu. We left with his bear, Pikachu, & a gray rescue cat because they had a sale! The girl, Star, who helped us was sweet, very helpful, & friendly. She talked us thru everything, as it was our first time, & she made checkout easy. “First of all let me just say that up until yesterday (12/30/23) I had only purchased through the online method because I live in Lexington Kentucky. Yesterday I visited the Hyde Park location for the first time, and I loved it! My wife is a Cincinnati girl, a devout Reds fan, a devout Bengaks fan, and above all a Joseph Daniel Votto fan. She was not happy to see zero Votto shirts. (She has plenty, she just can't let go)”

“The state of Oklahoma has been in the news quite a bit lately for wildly regressive acts of censorship & regression, shutting down public library programs that deal with issues like sexual assault survival & awareness & banning book after book after book from school & public library shelves. Quite recently, a bunch of gun & Bible toting lunatics stormed a library board meeting & demanded the removal of several titles from the library's collections, including The Outsiders, a novel that has not only been regarded as a classic book for young adults for over 50 years, but one that was written by Oklahoma's own S.E. Hinton. This is a rather roundabout lead-in to how I think the Socs would be perfectly at home shopping at Vineyard Vines. Madras, plaids, & brightly colored patterns are the order of the day at this shop that takes its inspiration from Cape Cod's Martha's Vineyard, a favorite destination of mine, for among other reasons, its use in the classic movie, Jaws. Apparently, dogs are allowed in this store, but I've never brought mine along to test that, because there are few other places in & around the mall where he'd be welcome to tag along. Most of the clothing is slim fit style, which I loathe, but every once in a while I'll find an awesome tie or something, like their line of Mr. Rogers inspired neckwear from last year. In any case, whenever I'm at Kenwood, I make a point of coming in here to check what's new.”
