Tara and Chuck now own and operate the pharmacy and I have no complaints! Each time you call you have the option to speak with an actual human who picks up the phone only after a few rings. This is the most prompt, detailed, they have the kindest staff and they also offer additional clinical services. They are truly the experts in all things pharmacy. I call in every month to inquire about medication fill dates, stock and to just say hello and I am met with pure joy and friendliness each time. The majority of times if you go into the pharmacy or through the drive-thru they will automatically recognize you by your face, and in my case they even know my husband. The staff remember details about my personal life such as careers, travel and special interests. Tara is especially great at all things supply chain and ensuring she has what she needs for the pharmacy! If you have any medications that you have to pay out of pocket for, the pharmacy has very very reasonable prices and I do believe they take a specific discount card.
Something else that is great is that literally their entire staff is kind and efficient. I have never encountered a bad hire in my time as a patient. I recommend this pharmacy to patients and Doctor's offices all the time, and have only received wonderful feedback. Another situation that impressed me as a chronic illness patient is that as I continue to be prescribed antibiotics Tara will notice and come to the window and chat with me about how to take them, why I am on them, if there are any alternatives and if she has anything inside or outside of the storefront that can aid in antibiotic safety/stewardship. They are never pushy about asking questions though, so if you only wanted to pick up your medication and it was safe they would have no issue.
I have essentially written a small novel and have been meaning to write a review for at least 4 months. I wish all pharmacies treated patients with the most efficient service, the clinical services offered, with a great supply chain and compassion. Thank you and your staff so much for allowing me to be a patient, who is there a lot and with a lot to manage with kindness and respect. I am eternally grateful for Mary & her staff as well as Tara/Chuck & their staff! There are truly not enough "thank you" in the word to cover how great they have been to me.”

“For the most part everyone here is super friendly. I do not like how I get text reminders that a script is due for refill and to submit the request when it truly is not due for a refill. I have to explain to my Dr and send photos of the text to ensure them it was not me hunting for an early refill, it was Meijer pharmacy system. I do wish they would keep regular prescription medication in stock if they know they have people who gets it filled regularly. The M Perks is a definite plus!!”

“I came into this CVS, which is located inside of a Target, 5 minutes after I left the Dr. Office. The Pharmasist said the perscription had not yet arrived but she suggested it would not be long and I should feel free to wait. I went to the Starbucks located in the store. within 5 minutes I received a test notifying me that the perscription had been received. It said the perscription would be fill in X hours and asked if I needed it sooner. Replied to the text and said sooner. Within about 10 minutes I received notice that the perscription was ready. I went to pick it up immediately. The Pharmasist was extremely nice and anxious to answer any questions.”

“Most of the time reviews about anything are only negative. I want to recognize and applaud Amanda(one of the pharmacists). I travel quite a bit and honestly stay panicked most of the time that many of my medications will run out. She goes above and beyond to always ensure that I receive what I need. Other pharmacist would not care enough about their patients to do all of the extra work that she does. Her cheerful attitude is a breath of fresh air. She is a tremendous asset to Kroger pharmacy and am so grateful to her!!!”

“Ok, Sam's Club is Sam's Club. The store is what it is. There are waits in the checkout on Saturdays and a wait to check you out the door (which I hate!) However, I have to give a good shout out to the Tire and Battery and the Optical Center. Both have staff that are so friendly and helpful. I get my contacts, and sometimes my glasses at Sam's. The people that work there have been there for years, have helped me even when they were technically closed, and are always friendly. Now there have been different people at the Tire and Battery, but once they come from the garage to help, they are all so helpful. Recently we put two tires on my husbands car, and they took it in early and we're done before our original appointment time. This week, we went to order 4 tires for my car. The service guy told us about a promotional deal to upgrade to a plus member. We upgraded to Plus, paid $25 to do that, but saved and additional $75 with coupons and savings. Nice experience.”
