“We were in the Florence, KY area for my wife’s eye surgery and she realized that she had left one of her medications at home. We called Sam’s Pharmacy and they said they could have it the next morning and gave us their contact info for our Doctor at home to call in the prescription. Savannah and Jeff went above and beyond to make sure they had the prescription and the correct medication by following up with phone calls to our Doctor. We received everything we needed as quickly as possible. Again, we appreciate the efforts by Savannah and Jeff and the Pharmacy Team at Sam’s in Florence.”

The hours are helpful in that they are open every day except Sunday. The rest of the store has medicines and other basics. Hope they can stay in business since bing downtown!!”

“Absolutely do NOT like prescriptions being filled at their central regional location about an hour away & being shipped to local pharmacies. It delays customers being able to begin taking needed medications when the local pharmacies have the drugs needed to fill the prescriptions sitting on their shelves anyway.
I understand their reasoning however they are definitely NOT putting the customers first - in fact, the customer is LAST in their list of priorities.”

“Had the outpatient care for my Hepatitis C through this pharmacy and Ms. Karen Andrews would call me every week to see how i was doing, asking me if I had any side effects,questions , concerns, or needed a refill on medication. was just a great person to talk to. She definitely made you feel cared for , and you, going through this process as easy as possible . I am blessed to have such a wonderful person to have been there at this scary and miserable moment in my life . Hope she sees this and knows she got me through this stressful time of my life. “Edit 5/19/26: After about a year using this pharmacy, I am completely pleased.
I have never had any problems beyond the occasional stock shortages that have affected all pharmacies. AFAIK this is beyond their control.
This pharmacy does a much better job at acquiring stock and keeping me updated. They tell me when they will receive it, and everything is smooth as it can be.
*I don't miss Walgreens (or other chain pharmacies) at all.*
