“One of my favorite places to shop and if you join the Ollie's Army you earn points toward coupons for a discount. 10-30% off either single item or entire purchase.”
“This store is normally fully stocked. Only problem is a disagreement about pricing. Was buying a head of cabbage and the sign said it was .89/ct. I took it as .89 a head and the manager said it meant per lb. I lost the battle but still disagree.”
“Really nice place and people and Cox's Pharmacy. Starting to really fill out the store with fun things too. Not sure why there's a random video of a little girl, so that's weird”
“A great place to stop for all sorts of stuff including books food and toys, you never know what you'll find there next as they always getting new stuff in left and right and changing inventory, either way there definitely worth a quick stop to see what they have from time to time”
“OMG.. I had a BALL .SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM.
WENT TO GET ONE THING LEFT THERE SPENDING $60.00.
LADIES STOP PROCRASTINATING..
IT IS THERE FROM A SPOON TO POTTING SOUL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
THANK YOU.
THE YOUNG LADY AT THE REGISTER WAS WONDERFUL.
THANKS SWEETIE 🥰”
“Mark is the absolute best person to work with! This gift card exchange for one is super easy to work per with! Two his customer service is the absolute best! And lastly his percentages are the absolute best in the whole EAST COAST! It’s worth the drive just to talk to mark, he s super pleasant to work with!!”
“This place is great everything that u think is 5 dollars is actually 1 dollar u can buy an 8 pack of soda for 2.50. And there are alot of fine and beautiful women that frequent the place. You may meet your future wife there. This place is almost better then going to a club lol.”
“This store is fully stocked with products. The employees try to keep it in order as best as possible. I went there looking for the bio pure hand sanitizer and the lady was nice enough to grab a box and give me a couple of them. Very attentive. Great customer service!”
“Yes I want to let the new staff and manger know that they are so sweet compared to the last one I had the Awful experience with that my husband complained on this one is definitely a A+++”
“Overall it was a good shopping trip to pick up some basics. I came in the middle of stocking which made it a little hard to get to things. Found all on my list but two items so not bad.”
“Dollar General Market is a great place for quick shopping trips. They have a much larger selection than a regular Dollar General, including fresh produce, groceries, household essentials, seasonal items, and plenty of everyday necessities. The store is usually easy to get in and out of, making it a convenient stop when you don’t want to deal with a big grocery store. Prices are reasonable, and it’s nice being able to grab everything from food to cleaning supplies in one trip. Definitely a handy place to have in the Hillview area.”
“Good prices, music and selection. Friendly staff answer questions the best they can. Ambience to shop is good over all. I just wish they kept better track of what products they are running out of for better replenishment. Last time I couldn't find a type of pizza I always get here.”
“This place was so clean and offered more selection than the other SavALot's I've been too. A great shopping experience.
Customer service ❣️”
“I am a regular at this store! I live right down the road. The staff especially the Saturday morning lady Becky, is always friendly and always greats everyone with a smile. it amazes me, how much stuff they have in that little store. I don't know how they keep that place so clean! I swear that place is busier then Walmart most times I go in there! But I'm still in and out. Don't know how they do it. I would definitely recommend this place over any other chain within 20 miles, it's worth the trip, for the friendly atmosphere!”
“I was very impressed stock was in Cashier was very nice Iv not been in this store in a while but I will return Keep up the Great work..Everyone had a Mask on. Social Distance was in place”
“I usually have my roommate go for me, because she visits a few times a day anyway. They serve you right up til closing @10pm..Alot of us that live close by, run in @ last minute. The ladies are helpful and friendly, but hurry after a long evening's work to get out, but do so in the kindest way...its a very comfy, country atmosphere.I highly recommend ..:) :)”
“When ur low on cash, the dollar stores prices will help u makes ends meet, but I think that the employees should be more appreciated by the company, they work alot of over time, and are understaffed, but the staff they do have, pulls through, aND succeeds at the task, and always try as hard as they can to make the customers visit a pleasing one”
“Very clean. Well stocked. Nice employees. Was able to find what I was looking for and they have such a wide variety of things. I will definitely shop here again.”
“Lots of inventory. Needs more organization. Prices are OK, some products are inflated to MSRP, which you can get cheaper at their original store, so the 40% off isn't as good a discount.”
“I recently moved into the area and have been in this store a few times and so far it's been one of the nicest Dollar Generals that I've been to. On my recent visit, there were 2 ladies, both very polite, hopefully, informative, and overall the mood was amazing. Couldn't tell ya when a store was this polite, this helpful, and actually cared for their customers. Thanks to the both of the ladies who made my visit very pleasant. I will definitely be back to visit again.”
“The one Manger with pretty eyes, her name starts with a C if I reamber correctly she's the sweetest/ extremely helpful with anything I've needed, she's always working so hard/ basically 7 days a week, I give her a 10/10 rating”
“Dollar Tree offers a specialty item that feels like it came direct from the manufacturer, maintaining a level of quality usually reserved for high-end retailers. While this exact product typically costs upwards of $5.00 per unit elsewhere, finding it here for only $1.25 per unit is an absolute steal. As a connoisseur, I’m keeping the name a secret to ensure I can keep my own pantry stocked, but the value is truly unmatched.”
“The store is always neat and organized. I can't say enough about the staff, they are always friendly and helpful, especially the lady, Terry. Terry is always busy stocking being a cashier and so is the manager. Kudos to them for working so hard and still have such a good attitude!”
“This is the second day in a row that I have been surprised. Yesterday my daughter and I had been looking for a locksmith to make a key for her car which was parked on the dealership lot. No success in our search until she called pop-a-lock, they set up a time that afternoon and in less than 45 minutes they had reprogrammed and made a new key. POP-A-LOCK YOU ROCK GREAT JOB. Today I was looking for a charger for my phone, drove around to a few big stores no success, a young lady told me to check out Dollar Tree I went there and to my surprise they had all I wanted. Great Job Dollar Tree”
“Another quick shop stop. Love the prices. It better than going to these big shopping stores spending 10.00 for a 2.00 item.
Love this place. I'm definitely a Regular..lol ???”
“I’ve stopped by this Dollar General on Highway 44 several times, and it’s always been a good experience. The store is usually well stocked, easy to get in and out of, and has the everyday essentials I need. The lady who works there is always super nice, friendly, and welcoming, which really makes a difference. Great customer service keeps me coming back. Definitely one of the better Dollar General locations around!”
“Dollar trees become very popular with a lot of people over the years. You can buy basic supplies and everyday things there. The price is reasonable remember when you buy things there I mean just be selective or whatever you want but most everyday things you can buy their. Remember once you use it it goes out in the trash either way you look at it it goes out the same way if you buy it any other retail or discount or it just goes out the same way. The prices are reasonable there especially with plastic supplies if you're going to have a large gathering you want to use plastic forks and spoons and knives and paper plates and bowls and cups and other supplies.”
“3rd location we've been to in the area trying to get birthday balloons filled. All locations were out of helium. Someone needs to do a better job of ordering. Otherwise some good deals are available.”
“Fair, consistent pricing all the time. No need to catch a sale like the big box stores, always has competitive prices. excellent service before and after the sale!”

“This store has made a major improvement in the last two years. The male manager will stop what he is doing to go in the back to look for items to make sure the customers get what it is they are needing. The lady with the white strip in her hair is always so pleasant and inviting. This is the cleanest dollar general I have ever been in. I live about fifteen minutes from this store there is a dollar general right around the corner from me and I will not go in it on the way to this store is also another dollar general close to berry and Taylor I will not go into that one either. It's a mess and there is never anything on the shelves. The employees at that location will be standing outside talking to people or smoking waiting for the customer to be ready to check out when they should be in the building helping the customers if they need it. I won't go in there. I travel outta of my way just to come to this dollar general. There is a young gentleman with a curly ponytail that is always busy but will stop what he is doing to help. These employees really got it going on and know what they are doing. Best dollar general in Louisville.”
