“***Update 06/17Ken and Pat, two of the men that run the organization, call me and resolved all of my issues.***Original PostI am sure that there are some people that have a good experience here, but I did not.The people that work at the counter and in the warehouse are very friendly and helpful.The people in management on the financial and credit side of the operation are incapable of looking at you as anything more than a number on a screen, specifically Steve Tester.One day I was on my way to pick up coil from them for a job and out of nowhere they told me that I had a months old invoice that supposedly was not paid and locked my account out.I have spent thousands of dollars at this place. I bought a brand new gutter machine from this place. And then one day they decide to treat me and speak to me like I’m a criminal because of an oversight on their end.My last conversation was with the branch manager of the Loveland operation Keith. Upon explaining the situation to Keith his response was that he didn’t think we were a good fit for each other, which I agreed with.At no point did anyone from Marsh accept responsibility for the issue. Their only response was locking out my account and demanding that I stop everything and tend the an issue caused by an oversight on their end.Again, the people that work the counter (DJ, Cowan, Brenda, and more) and in the warehouse (I cannot remember any names) were very helpful and provided great customer service, as well as the guys who deliver gutter.As long as they don’t pull an invoice out of a file from a month ago and claim you didn’t pay for it you may have a good experience here.”

“I recently found this building material lumber yard near my house. Dave and the other folks were professional and friendly. They helped me plan my home project and even provided custom wood word for the project. I will definitely recommend them and go back for more of my home improvement needs.”

All the employees are so nice and helpful. I had a heavy item delivered, they arrived on time and were professional and nice. I'll be back for my future projects!”

“Updating rating and conclusion. I am happy to report that Sims-Lohman did come through and is refunding us for the filler we did not need to order. The regional manager helped and we will be working with them in the future for other projects.

Recently ordered cabinets and trim pieces and spent close to $3000 total. I sent photos to the sales rep of the current trim we have and needed to change out with the new cabinets. I was told by her that we had filler on our upper cabinets so I ordered the pieces based on her response. Upon delivery, the filler (which was the more expensive trim pieces) was not in fact what’s in our kitchen. She claimed she thought it was filler. Seeing what filler is now, it’s very clear it was not filler and we didn’t need to spend the almost $300 on that. I asked to be refunded since this was ordered based on their rep saying that this was what the photo was of. We are also planning to add additional cabinets and replace our countertops and had planned to purchase those items through them as well. So would be spending thousands more. When I told the regional manager that I was hoping they’d work with me considering we plan to be repeat customers. He said the best he could do was offer a $200 discount on a future order and they were already doing the courtesy of ordering another piece of $32 scribe since that’s what I actually had along the top of the cabinet and was the product I actually needed, not 3” wide filler. Very unfortunate they are unwilling to assist when we ordered based on their sales reps expertise. Save your thousands to spend with a business that would correct their mistake.”

“I had to return some extra building materials. I checked on the web site & it said they closed at 4:00 p.m when, I got to my destination at 3:39 the hours on the door said they closed at 3:30. I walked between the buildings & found a worker who made a call & had the front open back up & help me out (Huge Thanks to that man.) I apologized for not getting there in time & made reference to the web site time, he said they have tried to get Google to change that & they haven't closed at 4:00 p.m. in like 5 years. Google please make the necessary changes for this company so customers don't get mad at them. Again thank you for opening back up for me & making it possible for me not to have to make a second trip.”

“I waffled between lugging 45 sheets of drywall into the basement by myself or having it delivered. I ended up choosing M & M and was met with great service from ordering to delivery. The delivery was especially impressive with two guys traversing a wet slope to get everything into my basement. To say they crushed it would be an understatement.”

“upon arrival they had me back inside the building to get unloaded. Might have been due to the weather. Unloading was a bit slow as they were being super super careful with the A-frame racks of granite. Nice personnel”

I have never been disappointed with anything purchased here and have always gotten excellent customer service from the gentlemen at the counter and product being loaded from the warehouse. It's a family owned business who treats you like family.”

“Umload 7-3. They're on the corner of spring Grove and Monmouth rd. You can only enter heading west on Monmouth rd, so take the prior street to come around from the back. Could probably park on the street over night, but aside from that theres zero parking. Small lot, nice people!”
