“This privately owned store is chocked full of merchandise made by women from all around the world. I loved the line of bamboo clothing that was soft, versatile, and came in a nice variety of colors. They had some lovely jewelry. You could tell the owner loves what she does and what she has to offer. They will be moving from Main Stauss over by Braxton’s Brewery in October, 2024. The owner is all about supporting other women. At her new place, she will have space for programs to enrich women’s lives.”

“Love the Orvis shop and the guys who work there. I've gone in a few times, and i always lose track of time. When I bought my rod, there was no pressure. In fact, I tried quite a few different ones in different price ranges, and I got help with my casting. I recently took the 101 class and can't wait to take 201. Manuel and Tom were really supportive and encouraging. As someone who has been out floating and wading with guides, I walked away from this experience learning more than I had on those trips. They also seemed genuinely excited to share tips and give advice. I highly recommend the class, even if you're just stepping into fly fishing! You can stay afterward and test out some rods, and take advantage of the extra deals!”

“Store was great. I have been to the one in Cincinnati and the one at Florence Mall. But the only complaint was when I got home I had 3 t shirt 1 xl and 2 XXL the but one shirt was darker and and a long sleeve I wanted all to be short sleeves and I said to myself why would a long sleeve be folded with a short sleeve t shirt ? Long story short is the long sleeve was $34.99 and they run up 2 long sleeve shirt and which all supposed been short sleeves because I didn't unfold the t shirt they had a long sleeve with the short sleeves and my husband pay for it because he thought all of them was short sleeve but the 2 short sleeve shirt ? was $27.99 for xl and 2xl but the people run up 34.99 for 2xl twice instead separate. This was June 22 about 11:30”

“Staff is super friendly and impeccably creatively dressed. If you ask, they will help you style an item and recommend different pieces if you are going to an event or in search of something to fill a specific need. The store’s curation is beautiful and very contemporary. There are lots of interesting, easily wearable pieces that my eye often doesn’t fall on right away because of how attractive the unusual/textural/sculptural stuff is. The result of the aesthetic mix inspires thinking differently about dressing and styling, even when I don’t pick anything up. Fair warning—some of the price tags are steep, but A) not all of them are that way, and B) higher cost per piece is often the nature of shopping for high quality pieces from small brands and emerging designers who do not have the scale and/or willingness to cut costs on sourcing materials, production processes, labor practices, craftsmanship, or thoughtful design. And you can always wait for a sale—there are very good deals on a lot of cool, niche, sometimes very high-end pieces. Nothing here comes from a 52-micro-season brand. Like its peer boutiques on Vine St (Continuum, TMBTITWI, Sloane), everything at Idlewild has careful thought and artistry behind it. Go, browse, be mindful and open-minded—the people who make up this business are that way themselves.”
“I came in from out of town for a wedding. I didn't have a chance to get there a day early to try it on. When I got there, I tried the tux on and everything fit perfectly except the pants. There were a little snug. Brogan and Hesketh were so helpful. Despite the very short timeline, they had the pants in the next morning, in plenty of time for the wedding. I am very grateful for Brogan and Hesketh for coming through and I highly recommend you use them for any of the services they offer.”
