“I went here after a terrible experience at another metaphysical store where I was patronized and my daughter completely dismissed. This place renewed my faith in good people. I wish I knew the name of the young lady working that day because she was so genuinely kind and patient with my daughter showing her how to use things and trusting her to touch whatever she wanted. I bought things I didn't even need just because of how great she was. There is much to be said for good sales people and genuine people.”

He is the biggest Ohio State fan and I approached Grainwell with the idea of burning the Ohio State emblem on top of the table. They exceeded my expectations. “I love the idea of a plant shop in my College Hill neighborhood, so I just had to check this one out. I love the location -- a refurbished gas station, where they can open up the garage door and basically become a patio in warm weather. And I disagree with a previous Yelp post -- this is not a bad neighborhood -- it's now full of trendy shops, new restaurants, a microbrewery, and a barbershop and hair salons. The ongoing renovation & renewal has kept the character of the neighborhood while bring in new trendy business. But back to this boutique plant shop: The interior was relaxed and comfortable, and the plants were arranged beautifully. The prices were fair market value, which made them affordable for me. The staff there was friendly and relaxed, and we had a good low-key conversation while I perused the plants. I ended up buying two healthy "starter plants." She gave good instructions, regarding the unique qualities of my purchase, including how to water them. I wish they had a larger variety of plants, but overall it was a pleasant store that I'll return back to often.”
