“My favorite grocery store on a budget by far. The manager at this location looked at store film when I lost my phone. The store is clean and the manager is very knowledgeable. I pray that he would get special recognition for his excellence in customer service and running this location off East New Circle in the court across New circle from the Walmart shopping center. “I’ve had a chance to experience all of the oriental markets in Lexington except for this one. A friend had referred this specific market to me due to the complications, environment and sanitary issues of the oriental markets I’ve went to. Today I gave this market a try. This market has single-handedly become my favorite one to visit. It was completely clean and sanitary. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I was even able to find a product. I have been searching for months to get I have been looking for radish kimchi, but most of the markets only carry regular kimchi. I even would like to try the restaurant in the back. I will absolutely be returning soon!”

“Good foods co-op is a great place to shop for natural, organic, or locally sourced items.
They sell a wide variety of locally sourced and organic produce, an entire aisle of bulk foods that I have a hard time finding elsewhere, Kentucky products including bar soaps, and natural body creams including my favorite, Desert Essence Bulgarian Lavender Hand and Body lotion.”

I believe it is the ONLY store that leaves the fat on. Thick piece's of meat big chickens ect. I feel if people don't like the fat on their meat, cook with it on an then CUT IT OFF?. “The perfect little Mom and Pop greasy spoon dive. Ya can't hardly walk through the place because of all the "junk" (awesome memorabilia from forever ago). Little old man and a little smiling, happy faced old woman behind the counter cooking breakfast. Two old men sitting at a table, drinking coffee. I absolutely LOVE this little place. It is the most perfect little place to grab breakfast.”

“It was a cold dreary day and we were looking for something fun to do this afternoon. We love to cook and found this wonderful store next to the grocery store. We had a wonderful time sampling oils and vinegars and ended up buying a 12 pack plus some salts. Kelly, one of the owners, was so knowledgeable and gave us so many cooking ideas!
We are trying to cut down on sugar and these sweet vinegars are a natural way to curb a sweet tooth! We will be back! They have cooking classes too which would be fun on our next visit to Lexington.”

The seasonal selection is always interesting and there are some great deals. “The only negative I have with this trip and this location is that when leaving the mobility carts they provide shut off at the door. So if my wife hadn't been with me I'm not sure how I would have gotten the groceries from the door to the car since I require a mobility scooter to carry anything.”

“I just had the best grocery trip I ever had at this store! As we walked in, we were greeted by an employee and handed a cart. The store was clean and had all the new summer items! As we were checking out, another employee came up to me and my 4 month old and gave me flowers for being a new mom. I almost cried! Great staff all around and we love coming here!”
