“I've had a couple bad experiences with tire shops on Lexingtons east side so a friend suggested I go to Tire Discounters in Hamburg on Bryant Road and ask for Joey. Well, I had some time today and dropped by. They were slammed so I was just going to price some tires and come back later. Joey priced me some tires with install and alignment for cheaper than I could find even online. He actually had them in stock and had me in and out within one hour of me getting there. Can't beat that for price and fast service. Thanks guys.The ride home on I-64 was smooth!”

“Had a blow out in a Penske truck and called for assistance. Penske dispatched S&S Truck Tire to come and change out the tire. We were told that someone would be there to help us within an hour. We had the nicest guy come to help us within 20 minutes! He got the new tire put on and on our way in record time! He changed the tire with no problem! Super efficient and very friendly! “I cannot say enough good things about the team at Tire Discounters on Nicholasville Road especially James. I came in expecting a simple fix for a misplaced brake component, something quick and not too expensive. But because of an incomplete job from a previous shop that replaced my brake booster, things took an unexpected turn. Their attempted “quick fix” ended up damaging the booster I had installed less than three months ago, and I found myself in a stressful, frustrating situation.
This is where James truly showed what real customer care looks like. He didn’t have to get involved—he could have just fixed the immediate issue and sent me on my way. Instead, he took the time to help me sort through the mess left by the previous establishment. When I struggled to get them to honor their warranty, James stepped up and helped me handle the warranty process myself. That level of dedication, empathy, and genuine customer obsession is something you don’t come across often.
I walked in expecting a repair. I left feeling supported, understood, and incredibly grateful. James and his crew turned a tough situation into a reminder that good people and great service still exist. They’ve absolutely earned a lifelong customer.

“I stopped a couple months ago to get a flat fixed. They noticed that I would need new tires in a few months. I thanked them for letting me know. Fast-forward to today and I called over there to see if I could stop in and have them order new tires. They told me no need to stop as they already knew what tire I needed and the size because they remembered it from when I stopped to have the flat fixed. These guys work fast. They charge an honest amount. And their customer service is fantastic.”

“I recently purchased new tires for both my vehicle and my wife's vehicle at Big O Tires, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to discuss different tire options without any pressure. Both of our vehicles had over 55,000 miles on their current sets of tires, so it was definitely time for replacements. I had already researched tires and knew what I planned to buy, but the technician recommended a different set of tires for my wife's vehicle. The recommended tires cost only about $5 more per tire and came with a 75,000-mile treadwear warranty—significantly better than the 55,000-mile tires I had originally considered. That recommendation alone demonstrated that they were focused on providing value rather than simply making a sale.
Before purchasing, I compared prices from several tire shops in the area. Big O Tires was very competitive—not always the absolute lowest price, but they offered an excellent balance of price, quality, and service. They were also the only tire shop I found that offered a 10% military and first responder rebate, which was an added benefit and much appreciated.
Overall, I was very impressed with the customer service, tire recommendations, pricing, and overall experience. I would not hesitate to return to Big O Tires for my future tire needs and would gladly recommend them to others looking for quality tires and honest advice.”
