“I have to give it to them. Being a truck driver OTR we come across a lot of garbage out here passing as food. But this place right here? Phenomenal!!!Not only did the food taste great; but it wasn't overly seasoned with salt as a disguise for flavor. I tried catfish, (which I'm not a fan, but didn't want really heavy meat) fried perfect minus all the salt. The mashed potatoes had real butter, and cream. The greens and green beans were fantastic. You have an option of biscuit or cornbread. I had assumed some little jiffy cupcake thing; but to my surprise it was fried corn patties!!! Oh my goodness, I haven't had those since Mom was alive. They paired perfectly with the catfish. The food was so good, I noticed people with large orders, and after I had lunch, I knew why. End of it all, I went and grabbed another order for the road. It is for certain, anytime I come through here, It's straight to this travel center for me! Thank you guys, for making a driver feel at home, it was a great experience!!!”

“I drive through the area 2 to 3 times a week and go a little out of my way to get gas here. Their prices are "usually" 30 to 40 cents per gallon cheaper than other Shell stations, but recently they have actually been higher. Does this place have a new owner? Whatever is going on, I won't be returning until the prices are dropped!P.S. And I'm sure nobody cares. LolUPDATE: Prices are finally back down! As of today it was $3.17 per gallon ($3.37 at most other Shell stations), and I save an additional 5 to 10 cents off with Fuel Rewards.”

“Not from the area, but was visiting a nearby state park on May 21st when I stopped in around 7 PM to purchase a soft drink. I was not having a very good day; however, when I walked through the door the cashier, Jessica, gave me a sincere, welcomed greeting. I went to the cooler, grabbed my drink, and approached the counter. Jessica again asked me how I was doing or how my day was going. She was so nice and kind (you could tell she was sincere and not just doing a job by pretending or faking). She actually made my not so good day, much better. A person may never know the impact they have on someone's life.”

“They seem to close that crazy times I've been through here three different Friday nights they were open at 11:30 they closed at 9:00 and tonight they're closed at 8:00 p.m. I don't understand what they're reasoning is there's a gas truck there now waiting to fill them up but even the pumps are shut down you can't get gas with the crind. Found out they were short handed and couldn't stay open full hours. Been closing at 7pm instead of 11pm.”
