“A nice and quiet bookstore with variety of books and gift items for all ages. The employees greet customers with a smile and are ready to help you if necessary. There's plenty of room for browsing.”
“I pre ordered hey yang where's my thousand bucks? and other true stories of staggering depth hardcover book by Andrew Yang & I bought a second copy of the book the very next day after they shipped out the first copy I pre ordered when I saw that they had another copy in stock the second copy came two days later from the estimated delivery date other then that very pleased with my shopping experience I highly recommend this place for all your books thank you so much”
“This place is a gem. My wife and I went for the first time today. The folks there are super nice and just great people!!! I got a couple of great reads. We can't wait for warmer weather to ride our bikes over and hang out!!!”
“Found all the books that I was looking for and more! I even accidentally stumble across a book signing event here!! Can’t wait to browse for more goodies.”
“I was so impressed with this well stocked cozy book store! I walked in with my 3 children who are very lively 😁. I was greeted and helped as soon as I opened the door. I found exactly what I was looking for and my kids found 9 new Veggie Tale DVDs. We all walked out happy! Definitely would shop here again 😃”
“I really wnjoy this little bookshop. I came here on one of their book & craft swap nights, and had a wonderful time. I try and only buy 2nd hand books, and they had a wonderful selection here! My only complaint is this location sucks. Genuinly the area around here is all old rail roads and industry, then you come to a building with some murals and this store is inside there. I love how its in the west side of town, but like I never come here because there is literally nothing else in that area, and honestly I wouldn't go there when its dark. Really loved the staff here, I chatted with a woman and she was an absolute delight to just chit chat with! Ill come back for other events if I can, and buy more books!”
“One of the coolest kids’ bookstores I have been to!!! We loved our time in here. I was impressed by the amount of toys and books they have—there is truly something for everyone. The little reading book window was enjoyed by my daughter and I also. We found so many wonderful products and I loved the amount of classics they had too. Such a variety of products!
We’re from out of town and we will definitely stop for a visit any time we are in the area.”
“Had a blast going through the records, cool place. Got there close to closing time wish I'd had more time to explore. Fun place, have sold some books a couple times. Great staff super friendly. Have brought books here a few time to sell, definitely a great place”
“I'm in serious danger of spending all of my money here. There's a really good selection of records and they're organized/laid out in a very logical way. What really struck me is how the staff was so kind to every customer.”

“Have enjoyed every show or event I’ve attended! This place is doing great work for the arts community and neighborhood community as well. Great place! Check it out.”
“Really fun place to go to. Large store with clothing, unusual items and records. We found a painting that we have hanging in our house now. Staff was helpful. Lots of unique items at reasonable prices.”
“The most helpful staff I have ever encountered. When trying to find the perfect notebook/pen combo, Mason Rassega was an incredible help. He took time out of his busy morning to give me personal care and ensure that I found the perfect solution for my purposes. Mason is a stellar example of how everyone in the service industry should present themselves. Thank you Mason Rassega!”
“Overall it's a good book store. Prices are high, but I guess that's what it is. Nice cafeteria inside, with many desserts (also overpriced). But they have a bit of EVERYTHING. Need a book, this is the place.”
“From childhood, to age 59, I have lived around Bellarmine we have four members of our family, that currently attend there. I love the way Bellarmine has grown throughout the years. I believe it's one of the best universities in the state.”
“$7 for hardbacks, $5 for paperbacks, a selection much larger than almost all other independent bookstores, but that ranges in quality. Parking is a bit weird if you can't find parallel stuff in the shopping center. However, this spot is a gem.”
“Trinity is a great high school that offers significant financial aid to those who need it. Beyond that, they offer a plethora of AP classes and Academic electives. My only complaint is that there's way to much influence on sports. Every year we have a school wide assemble just because football wins state. Go rocks!”
“This is a fantastic place for people of faith, or those seeking. There is also a chapel there too. And is open for prayer and meditation. You can also rent or check out DVDs of good audio and visual things. Movies and talks that is.Look her before seeking out any other supply or book store. They are about the faith, and out Lord, and not concerned with getting rich. They really care about people.PAX.”
“It's a very nice campus. The campus staff are very friendly and very helpful. One of my children attended college here and loved it. Now I have another child getting ready to attend and they are really looking forward to starting college classes.”
“My daughter and I love pursuing the shelves of B&N. It's one of our favorite pastimes and always included in a girls' day. A quiet, peaceful, and welcoming environment to read, chat, and enjoy a coffee or tea.”
“If your in the market for magazines this place has you covered. At the back of the store are hundreds of titles of just about any topic of interest. My Mom was in the hospital for a short stay and I picked up a sweet magazine on great influential women throughout history. She loved it!”
“This place is every Louisville fans dream! We usually go to JD Becker but it seems like every year they have the same things and not really anything new. My husband wanted to try the campus store and I am so glad we did! We got a variety of different clothing and accessories for football season! My granddaughter basically just gets whatever she wants and was overwhelmed by the selection and she is 7. Of course I get what I want to be cause my husband is just awesome! Customer service was great as well! We will definitely be back!!!”
“Walked in to trade in two handheld consoles, two 3DS games and a Dualsense controller fully expecting to only get like $70 total, but Ended up getting $190 PLUS two hardcover books AND a 1st Edition of a book from my favorite authors. Don't sleep on this place! They'll give you a fair price for your items and they have an awesome selection. Staff is dope too. Made me feel very welcome.”

“The owner, Mike, is absolutely wonderful to do business with. I reached out to him for an appraisal and he was very easy to schedule an appt with. Upon entering his lovely bookstore/bookhouse, I was blown away. You don’t find book stores like this in Louisville. If you are looking for unusual and older books, you must stop here. He is a very kind man with an extensive knowledge of books. The address on Google is correct, it is an unassuming house, not a typical store. But if you have questions about if you’ve arrived at the correct location, just give him a call and he will be happy to direct (I did!). Must see for yourself. Smells amazing inside too, a book collector’s dream.”
“OMG! This place couldn’t be cuter or more inclusive if it tried! I love this store. It’s so well laid out and the gal at the front was so kind and helpful! Plus I found a sapphic novel I’ve been looking for everywhere! 10/10 must see”
