They held a piece of art for me to come in and get, and when I dropped my baby’s shoe while checking out they emailed me to let me know they had it. Went back to get it and one of the employees (I forget your name but I love you!) brought it out to the car for me because my kids were asleep. You all have my business for life! And obviously they have incredible local art.”
“The company representative came to my home with a number of fabric samples for the sport coats and slacks I needed, having purchased virtually no clothing since before COVID.He made suggestions that were dead on, and made measurements to assure a good fit. “I love shaheen’s for my workwear needs. They have uniforms, carhartt, Nike, and so many great brands. I get my steel toed work boots from here and we usually have to order them, and they call me as soon as they arrive! The staff is so great, very helpful!”
“I had a complicated issue with my Hot Topic app account that customer support wasn’t able to resolve remotely, and I was feeling pretty frustrated! Not until I met Jane and Nick. Despite how busy the store was, both of them went out of their way to help me in person with patience, professionalism, and genuine care.
While juggling other tasks and assisting other customers, they took the time to sit down with me and troubleshoot the problem step-by-step. They even wrote down notes while we worked through the issue together to make sure nothing was missed. That kind of attention to detail and customer care is rare, and I honestly didn’t expect it whatsoever.
On top of that, Jane personally helped me adjust and fit a belt I needed for a convention I was attending. She took the time to make sure it fit just right, with care and style advice that made a big difference. Her enthusiasm and kindness made the whole experience not just helpful, but genuinely fun.

“This is a really nifty place…highly recommend. Usually when my wife and I go into a store like this I just stare at my phone while she looks around. This shop on the other hand is filled with interesting stuff, unique smelling soaps and oils of different sorts, handmade items crafted in other hemispheres… The owner lady had an encyclopedic knowledge of everything we picked up and looked at, and could tell us a whole story about everything in the place. She says she personally sources and curates every single product to make sure of its quality, and that the source fairly compensates the workers/artists making them. We just went in to browse but walked out with a bag full of gifts for folks we know and stuff for the house that we’ve never seen anywhere else. Will definitely go back next time we’re in the area.”

She was so patient and kind, suggesting great gift ideas! This store was perfect for shopping for house warming gifts, birthday gifts, & baby shower gifts, etc. Maddie also went above and beyond to make my purchases cute and presentable with tissue paper, saving me a lot of time and effort!”

“This place is a little above my price range. A very knowledgeable gentleman named Jim Hines was quick to adjust his suggestions accordingly. Equally quick to assess my size and needs. He explained that I required a slightly smaller size than I had been wearing and he was right. After some alterations my beautiful suit fits like a glove and makes me feel fantastic. Another gentleman helped out and was also very good at his job, so I think the staff is well-educated in their craft. Rodes is the Gold Standard in Louisville. You owe it to yourself to visit.”

He was most helpful when I had questions about leader use.
