“My dryer went out so I had to go to the laundermat..lol. I have not been to a laundry mat in over 15 years or longer and felt like a fish out of water and a little girl in school. But the lady that was working was so helpful and kind showing me what machines to use etc.. Because, wow these new machines hold so much more etc, then the same with the dryers. Even customers was helping. I kept saying I was embarrassed, but she made me me feel comfortable enough to not be embarrassed. I wish I could remember her name. So until I can afford a new dryer, this is where I will be going.Oh and this place was very clean. As busy as it was there was machines for me available to use right away.”

“I was really impressed with this Highland Cleaners location. There turnaround time right after Christmas was extremely fast- my clothes were ready the next day, and they did a great job. It was also much less expensive than I was expecting. I had 2 blazers, a long wool coat, and a sweater cleaned for $50. Each blazer and the sweater were about $10 each and the coat was $20. Will definitely be using them again.”

“Agree with others here regarding pricing. Except for the 2 Express Washers which cost more, costs are much the same as other coin laundromats in the area. Dryers the same: quarter for five minutes.Only complaint is that the dryers' lint screens are cleaned just once a day. Don't forget dryer sheets or laundry balls (the ones you fill with water!)”

“I have considered Highland to be the premier dry cleaner in the Louisville-metro area for many years. They offer expert care and services for your clothing. On my most recent visit, I didn't go to my usual location and was disappointed that my clothing wasn't ready at the day indicated when I dropped it off for cleaning. Thankfully, it was ready the next day, and the quality was excellent. Next time, I'll go back to my usual location just to be sure I get my items back in the timeframe expected.”

“Best Price! Shirt- $3.65, Pants-$7.25, 2pcs Suit-$16.85, Blouse-$6.95, Overcoat-$16.50. Professional service and kind staffs... one of cleaners I trust. One of good thing is that they keep the schedule, usually three-day of circulations from drop-off to pick-up. So I visit here on Thursday and revisit on Monday. It is convenient time-schedule. The other thing is the best quality of dry cleaning that I have ever gotten. They are professional in every aspect. I also like their press on my shirts. It is fantastic!”

They are beyond accommodating. Heck, he even brings treats for the dogs. Regarding the workmanship, the clothes are freshly cleaned, pressed, etc. I have never had an issue with alterations either. They get the job fast for a reasonably priced.The only draw back is the parking lot can be hard to maneuver when too many cars are in it. It sits near the corner of Bardstown Rd and Feganbush Ln. “This is the 2nd time being here. I like the place, it's not really deep in the hood, it's not even downtown it's in old Louisville. Both times I felt safe and the people who run it are real nice.
