If it's not in stock, they see if they can order the item I need. This is rarely a concern, though, since they have a wide variety of products in store and online! Great place for me to come get supplements like electrolytes and energy gels. They often have great deals in store, which saves money on things I use.”

“I’ve been meaning to leave a review for this shop for a while now and just now getting to it! I highly recommend if you are in the local area of Louisville KY to slide through the shop. I started shopping with them years ago whenever I was picking up a new pair of vans here and there. Then began taking my son up there as he was interested in buying a skateboard and learning to skate. Neither my son or myself knew anything about skateboards and was greeted by Drew and Noah and they made my son feel comfortable from the beginning. The shop is in an awesome part of the city and has a true “home like” feel. (No pun intended) I love supporting these guys and have nothing but positive things to say about them. You will also get individualized attention and good service by knowledgeable employees. I have purchased footwear by Taos and Naot and have been pleased. “I had heard of Pix Shoes’ hat selection but never had an opportunity to shop there. My daughter was looking for a fascinator for Derby week. We were blown away by their selection. My daughter was very overwhelmed with all the fascinators on display but the lady working was so kind to her. She showed her all the options. She explained to her how to properly wear a fascinator. She customized one specifically for my daughter. This was such a great experience! My daughter was so happy with her purchase. “Very personable place. So nostalgic! Hardwood floors great look inside. Just a vintage vibe. Solid sneaker selection in all sizes. Trade value was on point and the prices were right. I honestly thought prices were $100-$150 under market value when making a trade-in. I did not expect to get the deals I did. Seems to be a place for the ppl. The owner is very knowledgeable and fair. Resell sneaker prices can get out of hand at times, depending on supply and demand but The Capsule keeps it affordable. Thanks for the trades brother! I'll definitely be back. Oh and one last thing for all u knuckleheads out there in the sneaker game. Don't try nothing stupid at this place. It's a family owned business and all of em been in jiu-jitsu for yrs. “I was born in 1941, making me 80 years old. When I was around 4 years old, like many children in the 1940’s, I contracted Polio. It affected my left leg muscles, my left ankle & toes, & made my left side shorter than my right.I managed to survive these issues, became a Pharmacist; working with constant back pain on my feet for 12 hours at a time.In the middle 1980’s hearing about Alan Kleinman and Living Shoes from an interview with the renowned character actor and singer, Burl Ives, who praised Alan Kleinman who had made many pairs of shoes for him.I made the journey from Owensboro, KY to Alan’s old location in Louisville, KY; had him make molds of both my feet; and make a pair of black shoes for me.My life changed forever. No more pain, no more out of balance; and even a little taller.Immediately we ordered a brown pair which I still have and wear after 36 to 40 years.I would still be wearing the black pair, but I lost them in 2005 in Hurricane Katrina when we lived in Mississippi. A church in Richmond, KY had another pair made for me while we were living there with our son. I still wear them 17 years later.It might seem that Living Shoes are expensive!However, when you consider the quality of the workmanship, longevity of the material, the fact that my shoes have been in service for 40 years, 23 years and 17 years speaks for itself. To be fair, they do have to have the soles replaced due to wear.Thank you, Alan Kleinman and your Living Shoes for making living more comfortable for me again.”

“While in Louisville to visit relatives and take care of business, we took an elderly relative shoe shopping. I knew the big box chains would not have what she wanted so my sister suggested this SC location. It was well lit and orderly with enough seating for trying on shoes. It was also larger than what I thought a SC would be. She found shoes she liked EXCEPT not the color she wanted. So although we ended up buying the shoes she wanted, this SC would most assuredly be a place I would go to check out shoes if I lived up there.”

“I bought the Mesh track shoe today. Don was great. He was not only very knowledgeable of the origins of the company, but had great savvy and since of humor. I loved his tales of his father, who is about my age. I've purchased several pairs of shoes from this location . All who have assisted me were very good. Don went the extra mile. I called him up, and said, why the long shoe strings, they drag the floor. He explained, that's the way it is designed. He said, Frank, come in next week, and I'll give you a shorter pair of shoe strings. Five stars, Kudo's to Don”

She was knowledgeable about the selection of dresses and help create the whole vision so my sister and us could imagine the full end results. Was the first time shopping 5 dresses in my sister found her dress! Ashley pieced together what it would look like with the addition of an overskirt. Wonderful, easy and fun experience. ?
Came back a few months later for my own wedding dress found my dress way under budget and 1st shopping experience. Since then the alternations department has been a god send working with me to make me comfortable and feel beautiful in my dress”
