“I bought a truck from a guy that had the transmission replaced at this location a year and a half ago then moved to Georgia, verified the warranty would transfer so i purchased the truck. I noticed after a few hundred miles a pretty good leak. So i called the shop explained my situation and that i reside in georgia 6 hours away. I was told to take the truck to an ammco shop since they are a sister company. I did, the ammco shop did the work and Cottman stood behind their warranty....i would definitley recomend this shop to anyone.”

“Took my 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme there after I told Dennis and Ed that the transmission had a long shift in first and they told me some things it could be. So they schedule a time to drop off. And when I say they are fast I mean fast lol Dropped My 1987 Cutlass Supreme off on a Tuesday or Wednesday and was told it would be done Friday. They called me Thursday and it was ready to go. The turn around was amazing the car shifts better then when I first bought it. Im so happy with the work done and the price. “We have a 1985 Rolls Royce that has an AC system that was converted from R12 to R134A. After some time, hoses failed and leaked R134A through the rubber. I priced available hoses and they were quite pricey. I too them to the Decimal Drive facility in Louisville and they made new hoses that less than 1/4 the cost of new factory supplied parts. The staff was very professional and polite. The work was done quickly and we appreciate them for providing 5 star customer service. They Rock!!!”

“I don’t really know much about cars at all. So when my car started acting weird, I was honestly really overwhelmed.
No idea what the engine was doing wrong, It sounded louder than usual, and there was this kind of shaky feeling shifting from gear to gear. When I brought it in, I was really worried I’d be taken advantage of because I genuinely wouldn’t know if someone told me something big was broken. I can’t pretend to understand all the technical terms, and I didn’t want to feel talked down to or confused. So I took my car to AAMCO on Preston.
What I appreciated most was how Herb handled everything. He didn’t make me feel silly for not knowing anything. Herb explained things in a way that actually made sense, no pressure, no rushing, and no trying to scare me into fixing things I didn’t need. He was upfront about what they found and what actually needed to be done. Gave me an accurate diagnosis!
More than anything, I felt like I could trust Herb and his team, which is huge for me since I really don’t have the knowledge to double-check anything myself. That honesty and patience made the whole experience so much less stressful.
They told me exactly what was wrong with the engine, the cost, they fixed it and I drove away feeling confident that it was taken care of properly, and that means everything to me.”
