“This is by far my go to Dollar General! Store has always been clean and organized since day one. The staff and cashiers are so outgoing and friendly! It never matters which day you go there to shop the atmosphere is always upbeat and positive!! This is the nicest one in Northern KY!! GREAT JOB TO ALL THE HELP!!”

“Aldi's is incredible. I've always had pretty good luck at the independence location. The only thing that keeps us from doing all of our shopping at Aldi's is just that the selection is better at Kroger, so there's just a few things we can't get there. The quality and price at Aldi's always feels better comparatively though.”

“A big shout out to Independence Kroger. After the mad house it’s been everyone preparing for the winter storm, I was up that way around 9:00 tonight and really didn’t think they would be open, nothing was open anywhere except UDF. I went in to get a couple things and to see a couple friendly faces. Everyone was working so hard. The shelves were all stocked full. The store looked so clean and not a cart in the parking lot anywhere. Thanks to all you workers who was there in the middle of an ice storm and bitter temperatures. God Bless you all and I pray you make it home safely. You all deserve a raise.”

“Great store to get gas. But you also got little high school kids in there green Toyota Tacoma acting like there tuff yelling stuff out the window while driving off December 12 around 9pm. Once again not saying the store is bad but this generation of kids think there tuff but once your face to face then it's game time that's why they gotta scream stuff out there window will they drive away I'm my generation that's being a little girl.”
“The guy didn't talk much, which I liked, since I have really bad social anxiety, he was pretty reasonable and nice though when I bought a slushie, the only reason it's 4 stars is the slushie wasn't that good but it was okay.”

“Family operated, always friendly, and consistently one of the cleanest gas stations I have gone to for years! This is my go to spot to fuel up old Betsy, grab a drink/snack, and head into the daily grind. The store again is always clean...even during snowy or rainy days they keep it nice. Plenty of snack options and it's well organized. The staff is always pleasant and have also walked me to what I was looking for when I couldn't find it, even though I probably didn't need that Butterfinger . You can pay at the pump, gas prices are competitive, and all the little triggers to hold the pump for you to be hands free work (Yes, I checked this out on each pump just to be able to write this here;) There is also a subway inside the gas station that is kept nice and the food is well prepared. If you're ever passing through Independence I recommend this location and grab a slushee!”

“I always have great experiences here! The staff is super helpful and friendly. I’d love to find a pharmacy closer to home but this place is so nice! Make sure to check the busy times, it’s probably best to go when everyone is at work. The pharmacy is closed 12-1PM for lunch (or was it 1-2PM?) anyways, just be aware of that! I wouldn’t go after school or work time because it will be backed back.”

“This is a store I recommend to everyone! The owners are truly the nicest friendliest and caring couple I have met in a while. They always make me and mine feel welcome and they go outta there way to make us feel important. They have given us deals, they have helped us in our time of need, and they just truly make you want to shop there. Their prices are very good, especially for it being a convenient store! Jaya meets us every morning with a smile and a warm welcome, and if we don't stop in for a few days she shows concern and ask us how we are doing.
