“Second time staying here while visiting family and will stay again in the future.Pros: Great location, great staff, breakfast was good.Cons: We stayed in 601 and you can hear traffic throughout the night. Recommend staying on the other side of the hotel if you’re sensitive to traffic sounds. Also, rooms with couches need a refresh. They are severely distressed and kind of gross.”

“Hello this is home away from home!! This is a very clean, accommodating hotel. It smells fresh when you come in. It is very modern decor. I visited one in Green Bay,WI. I thought that it just was rare because it was the same as this one. So, this is my second stay at this chain. They are all the same!! The staff is amazing, prompt, friendly and informative. The place is impeccably clean great housekeeping team. They are managed well. When we came in we was greeted by the manager. The parking is always safe. The building is mod. A very cool place to be when away from home. There is a bar. My only suggestion would be to have a happy hour with live or really good music. A charcuterie board would be a great idea also! Get out of the pool come to happy hour with delectable snacks from the locals here goetta, meats, cheeses, pretzels. Cincinnati has a great German community that would cater to this for any hotel.”

“This hotel is our secret hideaway! Every room is unique and laid out differently. There is a fireplace in every room. We have stayed here many, many times and it is always excellent. It is clean and unbelievably quiet. We love eating in the restaurant downstairs (The National Exemplar) and relaxing in the bar (Sotheby's). There are several other restaurants in walking distance, as well as a movie theater. It is also near Oakley which has many more restaurants, shops, and entertainment. It's a great place to spend a quiet weekend.”

“The MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE of my life.I went there for the Taylor swift concert and never expected such an insane welcome. The entire courtyard was decorated and there was a lovely welcoming party there for the guests. I felt so warm and happy there with my partner, truly above and beyond.Souvenirs and custom made merchandise we could bring home?? everything was perfect. Beyond perfect, truly the best place I’ve ever been. Like a magical dream. The specific thought they put into our stay, going as far to ask us our favorite songs album and era to design the room around. After the trip they mailed us a specific ticket to match where we were!! Unbelievable. I’m never going to forget this experience.”

“The Symphony Hotel and Restaurant was a great experience. The hotel is uniquely different from the usual hotels I tend to stay at and the pork chop at the restaurant was amazing!Nearby activities: Endless number of things to do in the over the rhine neighborhood.”

“It is a nice hotel overall and the attached restaurant (Metropole) is fabulous for breakfast. We had the corner room (a nice complimentary upgrade) which was said to be the nicest in the hotel. Three items did not function as they should - safe, bedside lamp, in-house phone. However someone came quickly to fix the safe. We did not mention the lamp and the front desk was notified of the phone issue. We needed the phone to call for the valet 20 minutes prior to needing our car. Instead my husband needed to go down to the lobby and request the car. The room could use a pick me up - looked a little worn but nothing too extreme. The room was very spacious for the three of us. We did not use either but it was nice that two tvs were included. The bathroom was nice - double sinks, artistic tiles, shower and tub, and fabulous smelling luxury hand soap! The king bed was comfortable. For a room this size and price I felt that it should have included a microwave but maybe that is just me. The location was what seemed like a great location if we wanted to walk around the area however our schedule did not allow it. The art museum within the hotel is very cool and was a great way to spend a little extra time that we had. Complimentary bourbon tastings in the evening were a nice touch but unfortunately we did not get to take part. Overall it was a nice stay!”

“I was headed to Milton, West Virginia on a business trip. I transport cargo for a living, im not a big rig trucker...im a hotshot transporter. I'm not from the area so the location was slightly hard to find at night. I can't say much for the view because, again, I arrived at night. It did sort of remind me of Branson, MO because of the hills and roads. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. My gf had booked me the room maybe 30min before I showed up. Their list of food delivery consists of mostly pizza and like 1 Chinese restaurant. Though I remember there being a selection of surrounding restaurants and a gas station all Very close, maybe even walking distance. My room was very nice and clean! My view was lucky, I remember looking out the window and seeing the side of another building like 100~ feet away. I won't dock the hotel for that though. They have a mild selection of food and drink in their open-concession right inside the front doors. Given I forgot to tell my bank about my road trip, my debit card was starting to get declined (fraud ) but the desk was nice enough to charge my junk food to the room which had my card on file. The next morning I was delighted to find the highway 9 was literally a step off of the parking lot and I got to see a little bit more of Wilder and Cincinnati. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and welcome! I'd definitely stay again if/when im in the area! From Iowa, thanks from The Hauling Horseman”

“There for a one-day meeting. Parking is not adequate for hotel and a large conference. Room has huge pillars that block sight lines. Positives: excellent service, polite and friendly and attentive staff, delicious food, very clean, easy access to the hotel.”

“You cannot get into this building unless you are accompanied by someone with a Childrens Badge and employees are quite firm on this rule to the point of sometimea seeming distrustful. Once inside however, people are friendly enough and there is a small cafeteria where you can get a quick bite to eat or coffee, drinks, etc.”

“Prior to arriving I checked into our room via the Marriott app. Once there the lady at the front desk was very nice! Our room was clean and modern looking. Everything was great except for the complimentary breakfast and housekeeping. There was hardly anything out for breakfast and when asked about it the breakfast attendant had an attitude. We asked housekeeping to borrow a broom so we could sweep up some confetti in our room and they refused. Other than that our stay was great! The hotel is in a great location, literally within walking distance to the casino and Target!”

“Stayed for 4 nights and the service was top notch, always friendly the tone and “no” was not an answer. My personal favorite was our waiter Matt in the hotel restaurant. He went above and beyond at every turn and genuinely wanted to ensure I enjoyed my meal.”

“I must say that I had some minor reservations because of certain reviews and also because I've never had a really late check-in especially at a hotel with no night attendant. My "late" check-in process was simple and quick! My room was clean and even though it was obvious the room used to allow smoking it wasn't bad. The kitchenette was nice with plenty of utensils. There is no daily housekeeping which I liked not having to put up a do not disturb sign. Will stay again!!”

“Good experience nice friendly staff. Got the extra bath towels, coffee for the room assistance with TV everything requested very fast and with positive friendly demeanor. Did not like the cost and inconvenience of parking. Depending upon when you park valet runs from $16.50 to $39 for overnight. You use parking go out and upon return different hour so higher rate. Same in self parking across the road in the deck first walking had better not be an issue for you. Then rates went from $2 went out returned rates went up to $18.50 said $20 12-18 hours overnight but charged me $17.50. The $38 parking was not at all expected. Didn't eat there but believe breakfast would have been at a cost. Refrigerator but no microwave and TV has very limited free channels with poor options.”

“We arrived at 6:00 PM in heavy traffic and rain and it was dark. They did not have a lit sign that was working, it was difficult to know which one was the Hampton Inn without our GPS. Other than that and a scarce breakfast menu, it was a wonderful stay.”

“Good check-in service. We found the room clean and reasonably modern. Spacious, but the layout of the bathroom facilities is somewhat idiosyncratic. It may appeal to some people, but not to all. It seems wasteful of space, at the expense of very restricted closet space. Overall, the pluses overcome the few minuses in the room. The included breakfast is adequate.”

“After reading some of these reviews I was a little nervous about staying here, but I had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, and breakfast was tasty. It's an older hotel so don't expect the Ritz but it was perfect for an easy one night stay. Thanks!!”

“My rental car was one of multiple cars broken into back in April. I emailed the GM and the only response was "you park at your own risk" with absolutely no offer to remedy anything. I was not looking for them to cover the cost, but some sort of gesture would have been nice considering the GM admitted there was a gap in security surveillance in the parking lot where the incident occurred.”

“So I am finally getting to write my review for this wonderful hotel. Truly, the gentleman at the front desk could not have been any more kind and pleasant. His smile was welcoming, and even when we left, he helped us get our stuff in our vehicle in the pouring rain. I only wish I’d asked his name. We stayed in a King Suite wherein there are actually 2 separate rooms along with a small kitchenette. I love having the 2 separate paces so I don’t wake my boys when I wake up early. The shower got hot fast and had perfect pressure. While certainly not the newest hotel on the block, it was very clean, very well-kept, and a hotel I’d be glad to stay at anytime. In fact, I’m likely to stop there again on my way home! The location is great and plenty close to any type of business someone could need. I personally would recommend this place without hesitation.”

“We love to stay near airports to watch the planes and this was a perfect location for that. It was a tad noisy on the balcony from the interstate but that didn’t bother us.Ellie was very helpful and friendly when we checked in.”

“Staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were huge with a great view of downtown. Of course, the location was perfect. Walked to fountain square, Findlay Market, and every store and restaurant we went too. (Plenty to choose from) But the biggest surprise was their tasty breakfast bar with plenty of options. Those cooks and cleaners do an amazing job. Tables were clean every morning and the waffle "dessert" bar was great! The entire staff is what made this particular location, excellent and worth coming back too! Highly recommend!”

“My experience at this hotel was great. I want to especially thank Selma from the house keeping department. I left something in my room and when I realized what I had left I called the hotel lost and found and spoke to Selma. The same day I called about the item I had left in the room she went personally to the room to find it and thank God it was there. Selma kept the item safe for me until she was able to ship it to me personally. I’m so grateful to her. This hotel has amazing staff!”

“Check-in was seamless, the room was small but nice enough, Amanda in Mavericks was very nice and gave us a great history lesson about the area and the speakeasy we were going to later, the wings were pretty good as well. The trip took a turn the next morning. No hot water for our showers and valet parking nightmare. It took us nearly an hour to get our car from valet. I was already to go after the lack of got water and then to be forced to stay and wait due to lack of staff in the valet area is unacceptable. Disappointed that this is the Hilton standard and especially for Honors members.”
