“We 1st went to another Honda dealership in Frankfort and despite my wife having bought a vehicle from them in 2019 and having her CRV serviced there regularly, were disappointed with the approach in trying to buy a new CRV 2026. We were told we wouldn’t get it cheaper and that was their “best” price.
We then went to Gates Honda in Richmond and had a completely different vibe. Kyle, Carl and Richard were superb, friendly and professional. Felt so comfortable that they wanted to sell the car to us and not as we had earlier felt that morning, that we should be grateful that Honda Frankfort should sell the car to us.
My wife and I are grateful for our new Honda and will be getting the servicing done there and would recommend them.
Oh and we did get a better price. And my wife preferred the color ?”

“I came here intending to write my first-ever customer review. I stopped in to have my battery and alternator checked, and it turned out I needed a new battery. I have a newer Highlander, and the battery was installed quickly—I was back on the road in no time.
However, shortly after leaving, my radio started flashing on and off. I turned around and went back to the store, but was met with confusion from the employee on duty and no clear solution. He was the one who installed the battery.
Thankfully, I personally know one of the employees, Tonya, who was off shift at the time. I gave her a call, knowing she would do what she could to help. She guided the on shift employee on what should have been done initially—using a memory saver before installing the new battery—but even then, he wasn’t able to resolve the issue and I just had to leave with the problem still remaining.
I left feeling frustrated, as this situation could have been avoided with proper procedure. I explained everything to Tonya, and she went above and beyond—she invited me to her home and fixed the issue in five minutes.
That level of customer service—especially from someone off the clock—is truly exceptional. Tonya deserves recognition for her dedication and willingness to help when others could not.”

What I needed assistance with was not an easy project to help with, they were all very patient, got the book they needed and helped me get what I needed, then I had to exchange one of the tools I bought, but not because of anything they had done, it was my fault but they treated me like it was not a problem...definitely will be shopping there in the future!”

The females that work here have zero knowledge when it comes to automotive information. Maybe try hiring a female machanic. Talking to a male, they tend to talk down to you (not intentionally but they do), talking to a knowledgeable female machanic is who I prefer. Maybe I will have better luck at another part store.”

Work is always completed before expected time. Also there is a person assigned to your car so not only are they the liaison, but they give updates so you don’t have to call. But if you do, just speak with customer service rep assigned to your car and they can answer any questions.”

“I bought a fairly low mileage 3800 series 3 for my car, they were cheap on the price and didn't charge me a core. $425 for an engine that runs like a top, didn't have any evidence of major leaks, and from the condition of the oil and inside the valve covers, it was well maintained. If I need another engine, Kentucky Auto Parts will be my first call.”

“Friendly service, and you deal with the owners.i have been to most of the local junkyards and several of them arent very friendly and a couple downright rude. These guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely the best prices I have found anywhere by a significant amount. For example I found doors for a Dodge in perfect condition for half of the next cheapest price of any place I called or any I found online.”
