“There's no need to go anywhere else. There are not many grocery stores that advertise their love for their customers and also give thanks to them on the sign out front. When was the last time you saw kroger do that? That is my store of choice . Never disappointed”
“Visited this particular Dollar General Store while taking some friends to shop in Eminence. Staff was very helpful, courteous, and personable. Their attitudes towards others, the demeanor exhibited was above the bar for other Dollar Stores, located in the areas I frequent due to my delivery occupation. Other areas and those surrounding these in KY include Louisville, LaGrange, and Shelbyville. Indiana includes New Albany, Jeffersonville, and John Mellencamp's hometown of Seymour. They deserve recognition for the way they portrayed themselves and as representatives of the company. A definite 5 STARS regardless of the store itself being more organized and well kept than ANY I've been inside of in Louisville, many others as well. Great job to all involved with this individual store, hat's off.”

“It's a small small-town store. It has a little bit of all of the basics. Enough to keep you from having to make a longer trip. The selection isn't deep, but it's adequate. The store was clean and the staff was friendly. The pork jowl in the meat bunker looked pretty bad though. Bad enough that I steered off all the meat because I didn't trust it anymore.”

“An idiot left a 1 star reviewing saying bread was covered in mold.... It's very clearly flour.... It's not mold. I don't work there but I do bake myself and I know what flour looks like, especially on fresh bread. Wish you could respond to peoples reviews to let them know they completely missed the mark. I can't imagine not knowing what flour looks like, that's wild.
Everyone here is always super nice and helpful, and if you do happen to find something that got overlooked or something that gets dropped on the floor or left out by a rude customer you can bring it to someone and they will gladly remove it from the floor for safety. Been shopping here for years it's one of the cleanest stores I've ever been to and the produce section is always on point.”

“New to the area and visit this store frequently (darn near every day). All the staff I have come in contact with have been incredibly friendly. Great selection of frozen foods for a DG, and they even have produce, which saves me the time and frustration of going to Wal-Mart as often. I love having this store within walking distance!”
