“A good place to purchase propane for your grill. They also sell grills if you need one. Considered taking a star off because you have to pay for a full tank regardless of any propane left in your tank. But the service is so good. Five stars.”

“I love our little neighborhood hardware store! It's perfect in that it's an easy walk, the prices are excellent, and there's so much there that if I need something in a pinch to finish a project or get one started, it is so convenient to get there. If you have to drive, there's parking in the back and on the street. And as I discovered, if you like to smoke your meats, they have a selection of smoking woods and supplies.I don't like going to the massive, out of the way hardware stores, especially if I just need a few things. Oscar's knows that and what they supply is what most of us need.”
“A true local business, this is the hardware store your parents and grandparents would've gone to before the big box stores put so many out of business. From the multitude of services they offer to the row of little league baseball teams they've sponsored over the years, it's clear they have deep ties to the neighborhood. The business participates with the city's residential rebate program where they can give discounts to residents who trade in gas powered lawn equipment on electric equipment. Paul helped me process the paperwork and had me out the door with a new mower at a great price in less than fifteen minutes. Couldn't recommend them more.”

Needed a new gas blower and they had what I needed and already assembled hanging on the wall to start using immediately! Staff also helped me register my new Stihl blower at their kiosk. Incredible wall of BBQ supplies, gotta be in the biggest selection in town! Thank you for all your help!”
“Been going to Keith's for many years and only once did they not have an item I was looking for (a template kit to install cabinet hardware). On the flip side they have had items and can do things that I never expected from such a small hardware store.

“Would have been 5 stars but at checkout the cashier didn't know the price of the items. I understand that they have many things for sale in the store. But they could at least have some kind of item look up sheet or something instead of asking the customer to go check the price. Hours from Jamestown KY. And it was worth every minute. Of no fault of anyone’s but my own;
I managed to drive the first time to pick up a display model jet 1640 lathe. I had only brought up a credit card that I had just acquired a week or so prior. And I managed to throw a fraud alert off and my card got locked.
I received so much reassurance from the young bald manager, and all of his staff and was promised it would be held for me.
I went home straightened my finances and returned the next day. The lathe was waiting with my name on it.
This was a very stressful period for me, and they made every step so smooth. The 3-4 older gentleman and one lady were each so pleasant knowledgeable and nice. I just wish I had not been so tired stressed and running on empty when I had came up and done a better job of writing everyone’s names. Just wonderful, 5 star establishment they even helped me load”

“We went to have keys made but saw whole lot more. Friendly staff answered all our questions. We also looked at keyless entry front door locks and they had a good selection. I went into the ladies room and had so much fun because they have a smart toilet by Toto in there. It's the kind that when you go in the lid lifts upThe seat is heated. It cleans you, it dries you, And, it cleans the toilet. Loved it now I want one in my bathroom.”

Soon after called me to confirm the door and handle I wanted. After payment, I was contacted a couple days later to do the install. Perfect from start to finish.

I buy anything I need for my house, yard and lawn at Home Depot. Not happy with a purchase, no problem customer service will help you get it right. Not sure about a product, ask. You could save yourself a lot of time and energy when someone explains how to use what you are buying.Home Depot has been around for quite awhile, thank goodness!”

“Prospect Brownsboro Hardware....Big shout out to Alex. He was a life saver today. I had a new refrigerator installed yesterday and unbeknownst to me the water line connected to the old copper line had been leaking for 22 hours. It wasn't leaking in the kitchen, it had been leaking through the floor behind the fridge through the ceiling into the finished basement. When I went down to start the laundry today the water was running through the ceiling and lights and the carpet was soaked. I immediately shut the water off at the main, pulled the fridge out and found the source. Being a Sunday and knowing nothing about plumbing I took pictures of the problem and went straight to the Prospect store. Alex not only got me the fittings I needed he took me to a work station and literally gave me a plumbing 101 course! Seriously, he even cut off a small piece of plastic water line and walked me through exactly what I needed to do when I got home. I'm so grateful he went out of his way to help me. And, very happy to report it worked! I fixed it thanks to Alex!!”
