“I had my wedding here at the Gheens Foundation lodge and it was beautiful. This park all year round is an amazing place to explore and there is no shortage of activities to capture your attention at all times. My favorite part is the creek that my boys and my dogs love to spend our summers. Swimming in the water. One of the cleaner water ways in the area. This is a must visit for people new to Kentucky and this already here
Toilets: There are a good amount of restrooms though out the park.
Dog-friendliness: I bring my dogs here to swim all summer almost.”
“Great venue for any occasion! Easy booking & great communication from the team. Love to accessibility to use the space what you want & bring in your own things. Price is very reasonable!”
“Beautiful. Peaceful, even when there are multiple events going on, there is at least one area that is removed from the action and quiet.
Toilets: Clean, well maintained restrooms”

“Me and my husband went to see King Diamond, Overkill, Night Demon and Myrkur and they all put on a performance for the books!! They did a wonderful job! And the theatre was so beautiful! If I could redo that whole trip I would in a heartbeat! Wonderful place and wonderful staff!”
“I'm very afraid of heights, but I felt safe with Brian. They educate you on what its going to be like. Don't hesitate! Face your fear and do it! You won't regret it. I will definitely be back again!”
“We had our wedding in the Picasso room and it was honestly the most beautiful and amazing night. I loved how we were allowed to use our own catering services and how much time we had the room. Also the lighting on the ceiling is gorgeous and made everything feel magical. The bridal suit was the perfect size for my five bridesmaids and me to get ready with our hair/makeup artist.”
“We stopped at the LSF while on a little bourbon trip. What a great place! If you like baseball, this is a must see. We got to take a tour of the bat-making facility, as well as learning about the players who used their bats. They had a couple of exhibits where you could swing a bat used by the greats, Stargell, Clemente, and Ruth. As well as inside the museum, they have home plates lining the street that you can check out.”

“Wonderful customer experience working with Gail on our balloon arch. She was very personable and communicative. Not to mention, our balloon arch was perfect! Thank you all! It was a lovely touch to have a person to talk to directly during this process!”

“My only complaint is that I wish they had some sort of discounted group rate for theatre students and/or actors. My friend and I went to see The Wiz and our crowd was lackluster. There were parts of the show where the cast thrives off of crowd engagement but culturally, if you're not from that background, or don't understand, it lessens the full experience. My friend and I were fully enjoying ourselves and a handful of folks were dressed in green like the Emerald City, as was I but a lady in front of us was very up tight. I could hear one lady complain about not having to 'put up with this' because she spent so much money. I deem it necessary for someone to come out before each show or overhead and do a brief intro on decorum per show. This will really help enhance each experience.”
“Great Location and great atmosphere. Sarah, our bartender, was awesome. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The zombie tacos were delicious. Our view was fabulous. No fridge, which was a bummer, but otherwise very clean and affordable.”
“We stayed here while visiting distilleries in Louisville! We were very impressed. The rooms were super clean, service was exceptional and the “old fashion hour” each evening was an added bonus! If we are ever back up in the Louisville area we will be sure to stay here again!”
“It is a pleasure to watch movies at this establishment. The staff is courteous and professional, and the viewing experience is exceptionally relaxing. The surround sound system and screen are of the highest quality, providing an immersive and enjoyable cinematic experience.”
“Visited for WHSL Market Week. Being on a knee scooter it was really hard to navigate. Even the handicapped parking spots were really far away. But it's a nice venue. Plenty of space for just about anything.”

“We are hosting our wedding reception at 300 Spring, and even though the big day hasn’t arrived yet, we already feel so confident and taken care of. The owner has been absolutely incredible from the very beginning—so kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about giving us the best experience possible.
The space is beautiful and has so much room, and we love that it comes with so many vendors included: a photo booth, DJ, bartenders, and even a wedding organizer. It has taken so much stress off our shoulders knowing everything is coordinated so smoothly.
Every interaction we’ve had has made us feel welcomed and valued. You can tell she truly loves what she does and puts her heart into it. We’re beyond excited for our reception and so grateful for all the support we’ve received so far. Highly recommend 300 Spring to any couple looking for a venue that really goes above and beyond.”
“This is such a lovely place to have a wedding. My, now, wife and I will never forget the experiences that we had leading up to, and the day of. Lakeside made it a lot less stressful with their day of coordinater helping plan the special day and made everything memorable. Everyone at Lakeside were super helpful and answered any questions we had. The DJ, Dean, was incredible. Every song planned played at the perfect time to make the moment that much more. Everyone their from the servers to the Bartenders, to the coordinators went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of so we only had to worry about having a wonderful wedding.”
“Very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
I didn't make it down to breakfast, but my friend did and she said breakfast was "legit" :)
The customer service was accommodating and friendly from everyone I encountered there, including manager Thomas over the phone.
The community surrounding the hotel is nice, appears to be safe, and there are restaurant options nearby.
I would definitely stay again!”
“The garden at Ray Eden was my daughters venue for her wedding on June 24 23. It is an amazing, gorgeous venue. The landscape is immaculate and lots of shade for an outside wedding. Mark is amazing to work with . It has all 5’s from this mother of the bride”

Girl Candles [First Love Yourself] and Ethereal Garden, goat milk soap has Amazing fragrances! ❤️ Piper Hudson-Meredith, Piper creations, she is a fantastic artist! ❤️”
“I visited for the first time today. I was speechless it was so breathtaking. Our tour guide was incredible. She has so much knowledge to share and never missed a beat. The grounds I don’t even know how to describe. Honestly walking along I could almost feel like I was back in the year 1790. There is also a museum and signs posted around the property at the different buildings and you can even get an audio tour on your phone of each site. Also there are walking trails. All in all I’ve never visited a more well-maintained, beautiful historical site. Thank you for all that you all do!”

“My stay was awesome, the room was great and the bed was very comfortable... The front desk staff particular Larry was very helpful and nice...Rooms: The room was a king room and really nice for the size..”
“The Jefferson was a beautiful spot for a wedding. The ceremony was held outside on the deck, with the city skyline in the background. A huge floral chandelier hung above the couple, and with the sunset behind them, it looked straight out of a magazine.
Inside, everything felt well in hand, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing without long waits. Parking was ample, so getting in and out was easy.
My fiancé and I were so impressed that we’re now looking into the venue for our own wedding. It felt like the kind of place we could celebrate as well.”
“My granddaughters go to American Turners and they absolutely love it. The staff makes learning gymnastics fun for kids of all ages. Well worth looking into if you are looking for some extracurricular activities for your kids or grandkids.”
“Went to pagan pride. I look forward to this every year! Got to take my daughter for her first time this year. Everything was perfect... until some rude guys came with cameras and microphones claiming to be Christian and starting arguments. Cops couldn't do anything about it. I avoided them cause I don't have any act right or patients for rude folks. Pagan pride was amazing though”
“Excellent spot to take in the Ohio and learn the importance of the water company to the city (and surrounding areas.) The space is used by locals throughout the year for various festivals, Reggaefest and Steamboat Race are of personal note. Easy access to good food/parks within 10 minutes.”
“Absolutely love this place! My 15 month old had a blast running around, climbing, playing with legos and just generally exploring the space here. Her dad and I had so much fun, too! They have free coffee and tea available which was awesome. Super clean and I love that the play sessions are two hours. I wish they had membership options, we'd come a lot more!”
“Was opportune or rather still invited to an event at The Da Vinci Room Event Space It was a amazing event. Mellwood supplied us with a major stage, chairs, tables, bars & other stuff. Their people were wonderful. The event was for Shirley's Way. And we raised tons of cash for them. Also hundreds of coats for those in need.Thank you Louisville? We look forward to next January and we can do it again!”
“Lovely place, comfy bed and bedding! Breakfast is delicious and the evening Bourbon cocktail matched with the dessert pairing is even more delicious. The hosts are friendly and very knowledgeable of all things Bourbon and Kentucky. The property is immaculate.”
