“We do most of our shopping at Kroger, especially with the fuel points. They usually have at least one meat on sale; either a pork loin, chicken, ribs, or as in the picture, a beef roast. The folks there are always friendly and helpful.”
“I have been shopping at my local Dollar General for almost 20 years. The staff has changed over time, but the backbone of the store has always been very hard working Women. It’s not uncommon to have Ladies near retirement age. They unload their trucks that come in, (the tractor trailer arrives and there is no one to lug the tons of product out of the very hot and or extremely cold trailers). There are usually 2 exhausted Ladies on the schedule. That’s it! The process of unloading the truck, takes place at the same time the store is open, and all the while, they have to run back to the floor to run the registers and assist customers. I have never worked there, and do not personally know any of these employees outside of the store. I do know, that merchandise is often seasonal, and moves quickly out the door. So the customer at times becomes needy, and has to ask where products are located. Yes, there is product on big carts, in the aisles, as these items have just arrived on the truck, and has to be stocked properly . I have asked for assistance many times. Promptly professionally, with a smile I have always been guided to my requested item. These Ladies must make a minimum of $25 an hr, to start. Providing the labor of 3 or 4 hardworking employees. If they don’t, they should be. I rely on my Local Dollar General. It’s a great little 2021 , 5 & dime store. Very profitable. I gave 5 stars to the employees. Can’t say the same for the CEO.Thank you.S. Clifford.”

“I don't know why more people don't shop here. It's SO much cheaper then Walmart and Kroger. They have a butcher on site. Meat is delicious and offer 5 packages of meat items for $25. I love it.”
“Okay, so I never post reviews but My girl Barbra came thru for me yesterday so I HAD TO LET THIS GEM & her employers know how amazing she is! I was rushing for a birthday party & the number balloon was wrong & I told her just to 86 it bc she’s up front idk if she had any experience with it & didn’t wanna hassle or overwhelm her well y’all she went above and beyond for me and even made the ribbons pretty and everything. It meant the world to me !! “We've been using their free pickup service and find it very convenient to order online. We never have to get out of the car. When we have shopped at the store I've found the parking lot to be a bit cramped.”
“Love the location for how easily accessible it is. The store almost always has what I need in-store, and the store is often clean and organized. I do my main shopping here, and it is straightforward to order online and have items shipped to my home or for pickup in-store. I rarely have to do any returns, but the process is easy and everyone friendly.”
“This store is pretty amazing. The employees there are always helpful, they even will make you have fun while visiting. You can tell the employees work hard to make the store presentable even though you know there isn't enough time or help to completely stock the whole store. I believe dollar general needs to work on this issue. Even when dealing with rude customers these employees try to keep calm and collected when being treated horribly by some.”

“I'm glad this Walmart delivers to my part of Versailles, as i don't drive which makes it difficult to get to a Walmart in person. Since they offer delivery i can save money & buy more food, rather than buying all my food at the local Kroger which would be a lot more expensive for people like me who are on a limited food budget... some things i buy at Walmart i can't even get at Kroger, or would probably be paying significantly more for. One time my delivery order was missing an item, & another time it was missing 13 out of 26 items (a lot of them were multiples of the same items). Not sure if that was the stores fault or delivery persons fault, but i got the missing items in both orders refunded pretty quickly & easily.”
“The girls at this dollar store in Versailles Kentucky are the best employees I believe I've ever ran across working in public. Everyone has the best attitude they always have a smile and talk to you like you've been friends forever if every business was ran with it please like this one the world would be a much better place in my opinion shout out to the girls at the dollar store in Versailles keep smiling and I'll see you tomorrow LOL”
