“I had pretty much lost all appetite for chicken. Slimy, fat, little taste. Then I bought a small chicken from this place. Have no idea where they get them. But I know that I will eat chicken again.”
“Love going to Banks, it's convenient, and they have a lot of products that aren't carried in my local (Reidland) grocery store. The cakes are excellent!”

“This was a great store. They have olive oils, balsamic. They have tonics good for when sick.
They have loose tea leaves sold by ounce.
many other unique items. Fair prices. Good to walk around and see what you can find. I'd go back. Reccomend to stop by and support local business.”
“My go-to for my Alabama conecuh sausage. Only place I have found this far north that sells it but you gotta compete with the boats. Not their fault,it's the best sausage Ever”
“One of if not my favorite place to eat in Paducah. The food is always so fresh and delicious, and the employees are so kind. Please give these people your business!”
“I shop here and I am figuring out that the red meat is NOT the greatest last two times the meat looks funny and turns white. Did I read it wrong did I grab pork? Makes me second guess my decision but I’m pretty sure it is just their meat. No issues with the rest of the store.”
“Unique items, low prices, bring your own bags, so what if they don't have everything.
And things haven't changed. Even during the past 2 years, their supply and prices have remained steadier than most. And now is the time for those delicious seasonal chocolates and snacks.
Now they have 7 self-checkout stations, so that job is often speedier.”
“I absolutely love the gentleman, the "let'a get ready to rumble" response/call keeps me coming back. Very convenient for me also on the back out Cunningham!”
“I go to this dollar Store the most There staff is a huge help, when your looking for something particular. They have fast service and great sales. I would rather go here any day than Wal-Mart!”
“Big o'l formatted store... unkempt and dirty floors but for sure some nice CSRs that'll try to make things right/ help find items. Did I say that this store is spacious...❤️❤️❤️”

“This store is great for our little town but there are definitely some things that need to be fixed. And in no part is it the employees fault. It is the company. They opened half stocked and have yet to be fully stocked. The systems have plenty of glitches that need fixing and not everything rings up like it should. The store is great in all other aspects. It does have variety and the fresh food is actually fresh. It is great to have a store like this come winter when we are all snowed in. But that being said. They really need to hurry and send the shipments so they can stock the store up because that is going to be a hot spot when the roads are all iced over.”
“Owner was friendly & knowledgeable and gave our co-op a great walking tour. Great place to U-pick blueberries, blackberries, & raspberries. Big sign out front & easy to find through Google Maps.”

“Very nice new floor plan in their newly remodeled store. But alot of wasted floor space that could have much more inventory. The new pumps and parking lot. Needs longer store hours though.”
“The employees on duty tonight, lack proper human interaction skills. By accident a iPhone was locked in the public restroom. After the employees unsuccessfully attempted to pop the lock to retrieve the phone, I went inside to see if I would have better luck. I was unable to complete my attempt because I could feel someone staring into my soul from behind. I turned around and looked over to find an out of uniform employee glaring at me. She then told me she wasn’t going to watch me tear up the door. I told her I wasn’t going to damage it, I was just going to personally attempt the task they were unable to complete. Seeing that I was not going to get anywhere with speaking to this person I inquired about a store manager. I was barely able to complete the question and another out of uniform employee rudley tells me she’s the manager. I ask what her suggestion to remedy this situation is. Still rude and unprofessionaly tells me they might be able to call a locksmith tomorrow morning. Finding this answer unsatisfactory, I ask for her manager because this cannot be how business is conducted on this property. I was barred from the property, this time at least by an employee in uniform. I had done nothing to be barred, now completely dumbfounded by the treatment I am receiving stepped outside the door to wait for my sister to come outside after providing my contact information because we might be able to call a locksmith tomorrow is not an acceptable answer for anyone, let alone someone who has been employed twenty plus years in the public relations insdustry. I walked to my vehicle to continue waiting for my sister to come outside. I called a different property, and was promptly given a district managers phone number. Mr. Powers had great personal interaction skills, helpful and friendly, willing to come to a rational solution to this situation. Sadly he was not the district manager of the property I was at. He however offered Mr. Wheatleys phone number to me. I took that and thanked Mr. Powers for all of his help. I called Mr. Wheatley who honestly could take a note or two from Mr. Powers and his personal skill set for the job. However Mr. Wheatley did have the actual manager of the properties contact information, he was able to contact the manager of the store. The manager of the property then had to contact this store to tell the employees to use the spare key to access the bathroom and retrieve the phone and actual bathroom door key that was accidentally left behind. Why could this not have been done from the very beginning before any attempt to break into the public restroom was made. I personally hope all employees look at the camera footage as I encouraged both district managers to do, and help the unprofessional not in uniform employees have a coaching experience in how things could have so much easier gone in a much better direction. All employees involved should follow how Mr. Powers conducted and handled himself and the situation.I most definitely do not give this store or its employees a five star rating. Being as five stars is the most effective way to have this review, reviewed one must do this.”
“Decent Dollar General. Found what I needed when I went in. Seemed short staffed at the time. Probably why the Terrachips I purchased were way out of date of sale and tasted bad. Need people to make sure stock is fresh.”

“Nice facility, Clean restrooms, average gas prices,
No windshield wash station!
Labels say the windshield wash station is at the air pump but they do not have one there either.”
“Me and my mom went to the Dollar General in Metropolis, and my mom hasn’t even been in the store for two minutes and already broke some thing, they were really nice about it and did not charge her whatsoever.”
“This is one of the biggest Dollar Generals I have ever seen. It is extremely clean and feels more like a supermarket that just a regular dollar store. There is even a healthy food section. I have never had a negative interaction here, all of the employees are very kind.”

“Kroger saves me $. I can afford to drive the extra miles rather than use our local Pharmacy. I like calling in refills and getting txt when they are ready to pick up. Most of the time, it's the same day service.”
“I really appreciate the staff here, I live nearby, so I frequent this location, and they are always on task and polite, and seem to be hardworking people. Facemasks required. Nice selection. Clothing options are better than most.”
“One of the best Dollar General's.. usually clean, nice employees, manager a great guy.. I'm handicapped and he always on the ready to help me... Only thing I dislike is when delivery day comes there are many boxes, things all over the store and it is hard to navigate.. BUT if the products don't come the be store would be an empty mess. And we would not like it..”
“Quick and Easy! Clothes shopping is a little pain, especially with kids at times...but when you can quickly find your size and design you want, it makes a parent's life a little easier when shopping.”
“Dollar General is great for in depth shopping it just a quick run and grab shop. I often end up running to Dollar General instead of convenient stores. Due to price and availability of products. Easy to get my wheelchair in and out of store, down all aisles and around the store in general. Staff are always friendly and quick to assist me when needed.”

“I have always hated this store. It never has the items I want and there are times that even though an item has a digital coupon the store does not honor it. Management has no clue about customer service. Today was so different because of a young man, Dylan, another store employee sent him to the back to check to see if there was any Jimmy Dean regular sausage in the back (the case in the store was empty). I really thought it was going to be a waste of time because of the attitude of the woman manager up front. But Dylan came out of the back storage area with the sausage and just made my day!!!!! He had such a positive attitude and great smile (the first I had seen in the store that evening. 4 other employees not so much). I wanted to make sure that I took the time to compliment this employee and the extra service that he provided.”

“I was just over grateful for your cashier, Nate, I came in earlier today to use you all coinstar machine and it was down so I ask the young man if I could set my cup of change by his register why I grabbed some more things in the store..and he replied yes and told me to put it there by him so no one would bother it..when I returned this sweet soul was counting my change out for me to cash it out for me..thank you so much Nate, God bless you..and of course all your staff have been sweet to me when I come in there..that's why I come there often..thank you Kroger❤️?..”
“Always super friendly service! We opt for Hughes for our Meats instead of Closer to home (Walmart, Kroget, etc.) Big draw is super fresh meat, great prices (and weekly specials!) and you can not top the friendly service! See ya there!”
