“Very pleasant staff with great customer service skills. They are always so quick and efficient. Especially if you have an existing reservation. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Plus the deposit always falls off my card within minutes of returning the vehicle. It's nice not to have extra funds being tied up for days and needing to hunt your money down. Rented a car with Budget at BTR for nine weeks across March and April. Bit of a wait (under an hour). Only one rep at the Avis desk at 7am (one more than at the Budget desk). She was clearly doing the best she could with limited inventory. Was initially offered a Ram pick-up but declined as I didn’t want a gas guzzler for a long trip. The car I got was great, clean inside and out. I booked a full-size sedan and was given a Hyundai Tucson (standard SUV). Paid at the counter using a debit card, and all they required was proof of my return flight.
A month in I was charged for their unlimited Toll package which I hadn’t agreed to. I called the main office, explained the situation, and the charges were refunded. Not ideal of course, but it was easily cleared up thanks to Budget having (automatically) emailed the initial receipt which made no mention of a toll package charge.
Budget remains my ‘go to’ for car rentals – best rates and reliability.”

“Our flight was cancelled due to weather when we were flying to Baton Rouge for a funeral, causing us to miss our pickup window. However, the customer representative was very helpful and responsive. Lindell went above and beyond to make sure we knew what to expect and how to find our vehicle when we arrived at 1:30 am. Easily the best rental car employee interaction we have ever had. Thank you, Lindell; your kindness really helped us during a stressful and unpleasant time.”
