“I had a nail in my tire so I had to drive there on a dummy tire. McDonald tire 2 addressed my concerns promptly & professionally. I’ve come here a few times before & thought they were already better than others in the area for unbeatable prices & good tire service but could improve in customer service. Boy! they must’ve went back to the drawing board. The service I received today was white glove standard. I don’t know who’s running ship around there but from the ladies in the office, prices & the extremely hard working men, they have raised the bar for outstanding customer service & tire service in Baton Rouge. As I was coordinating with a tow truck driver and Mavis, Orson was accommodating and flexible. And then when I got my car there 45 minutes before close, he had me out in 20 minutes. His crew also seemed happy to help. At times it feels like customer service is a dying art - not for Orson and the team at Mavis on Essen. Thank you!”

“I was on a long trip with 2 hours left when I realized one of my back tires had a significant wobble. I quickly Googled local tire places and found this one conveniently close. I was greeted immediately and after I explained the symptom they found a large bubble on my tire. They replaced the tire and got me out of there in 15 minutes. Can't say how grateful I am to these guys for taking care of the problem so quickly so that I could get back on the road ASAP.”

The owner and the son Moe seem to be good business men from my brief encounter with them. The black mechanic Jermaine is a good mechanic.
To test back brakes do this simple test how to check if back brakes are bad. Put the vehicle in neutral let vehicle roll and then put emergency brakes on. If it stop immediately nothing is wrong with brakes”
