“I went in for a wallet because I lost mine. I thought I'd be in line forever like usual in Ross but I was happily surprised! They had a girl named Breanna with short pink hair running the register and she did an excellent job! She was friendly but efficient and got everyone through the line quickly. “TJ Maxx is my happy place and also my budget’s worst enemy—but in the best way possible. I walk in for socks and somehow leave with a throw pillow, a Himalayan salt lamp, a cheese board shaped like Louisiana, and a novelty mug that says “Running Late Is My Cardio.” Oh, and yes—still forgot the socks.
It’s organized chaos in the most thrilling way. Every aisle is a treasure hunt: name-brand finds, deeply discounted surprises, and that one section of gourmet snacks that makes you feel fancier than you are.
The staff is always kind (even when I’m debating throw blanket patterns for 20 minutes), and the prices? Glorious. Five stars for giving me everything I didn’t know I needed and for turning “just looking” into an Olympic sport. ?✨”
“They got this 50lb bag of dog food for like $23.99 or roundabouts. My wife got too many dogs. Way too many. Piles of poo all over the backyard and holes. But yea that big ol bag of dog food is the cheapest anywhere. They also have whole oats if you're into mycology. They're kinda dirty and not organic but they work really well.”

“Friendly Staff and a Great Addition to Our Community
I am so thankful TJ Maxx has a store in nearby Zachary. Before, I would have to drive all the way to Baton Rouge and deal with traffic just to pick up a few items. Having this location so close to St. Francisville has made such a difference.
The store is clean, organized, and the staff is always friendly. During my visit on Saturday, the sweet lady working in the dressing room area noticed my boyfriend and I were unsure about the fit of some slacks and jeans he was trying on. She offered her opinion and had some really helpful suggestions. It made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable.
We also had a nice conversation about her son who once played in Southern’s band, which made the whole interaction feel very personal and welcoming. It truly felt like being part of a community.
When we checked out, Angela at the register was just as kind and friendly. I mentioned how happy I was that this store is here, and she encouraged me to leave a review. I am more than happy to do so.
This location has been such a great addition to the area, and I really appreciate everyone who made it a reality.”
“The Rouses in the picture isn't the one I frequent but it's still an excellent grocery store with a large amount of locally-sourced products, which is what I love most. Fresh, real produce from close by, meat cut at the store by a butcher...hard to beat the quality of local versus imports from China.

“I would like to give a shout-out to Brykeisha, who was working Monday night.
I was looking for a specific item and couldn’t find it on the sales floor. Before asking for help, I always make sure I’ve looked several times. The item also didn’t have an aisle location listed, so there wasn’t another place for me to check on my own. The first associate I asked, a heavyset white gentleman who was doing put-backs (I didn’t catch his name), didn’t any effort to check. He simply looked at me and said that if it wasn’t on the floor, they were out of stock. He didn’t offer to look in the back or see if there was any additional inventory elsewhere in the store.
A little later, I asked Brykeisha for assistance, and she provided outstanding customer service. She immediately took the time to look up the item, confirmed there was additional inventory in the back, and went to retrieve it for me without hesitation.
I truly appreciate Brykeisha’s willingness to help and the positive attitude she showed. She went above and beyond to make sure I left with what I came for, and that’s the kind of customer service that deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Brykeisha, for your professionalism, kindness, and exceptional customer service.”
“Belk is a Southern department store classic—where you go in looking for a shirt and come out wondering how a $98 tag turned into a $17 total… and somehow you still saved 40%. The pricing math is a mystery, but I’m not asking questions.
The AC inside is more of a gentle suggestion than actual cooling, but that’s okay—because the moment you walk through the door, you’re hit with the unmistakable perfume cloud that could probably be seen from space. It’s strong, it’s floral, and it’s part of the Belk experience.
Despite the quirks, I always find something worth taking home—whether it’s a new outfit, a random kitchen gadget, or a clearance rack win that makes me feel like I beat the system. Five stars for friendly staff, surprise deals, and the only store where the thermostat is set to “bless your heart.” ?️✨”

Come on Walmart is where most people get groceries. A lot of grocery stores around but don't compare to the offering Walmart has nor their prices. Has Captain Morgan 100 proof. Picked up some yummy dark chocolate pomegranate cordials. A lot of good deals on products today 4-14-2024 at O'Neal Lane super Walmart. Fruit looked fresh and some meat was marked down a day early. Get it when you can. 9-29-2024 update - went early @7 am when the store is quiet. The only draw back is no cashier register was open only self service. I wondered if I hurt myself would that be a workers compensation claim? I asked the nice lady who checks the receipt on the way out and she gave a back rub. LOL.”
