Also I swear if you stop here by the check it's homemade Jerky in zip plastic bags big or small you call purchase our favorite is the Cajun but My 10 year old daughter has to eat the regular flavor ones bc she doesn't like the to her opinion spicy Cajun ones lol but both is always just delicious along with the the cooked food or uncooked meats the have thereβ

βThe gas here is cheaper than the other retailers the problem is the crowd waiting in line is so unorganized that you have to wait more than needed to get to the pump.I have four stars because an employee should assist with traffic instead of sitting inside the little building.β
βStopped by to get some lunch. We ordered the catfish plate and the shrimp poboy. The poboy was delicious and it was loaded with shrimp.Great value for the price. The fried catfish was very tender and almost breaks apart in your mouth. just enough breading and great flavor. I also got a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. They did not disappoint. I will be coming back when Iβm in the area again.β
βThe gas station is super cheap. Really good prices. Cheap gas, cheap consessions, rude staff. Today, the staff was acting like Jaybirds, and yelling at us for nothing.β

βThis is a little hidden jewel in Central LA. Yes, they do sell gas and a few other items. But, they serve home cooked food as well. Have bought fried fish, shrimp, red beans and rice, meatballs and gravy, hamburger and fries, lemon cake, Mississippi mud pie, and the list goes on. They change what they offer daily. A must try.β
βThe plate lunch I purchased today was an A+. It consisted of Gravy Steak with rice, Seafood cornbread dressing, and tender, mouth watering Mustard Greens. Delicious!!β
βVery friendly staff. Fun to see all the different thongs they offer. Even had all kinds of frozen foods made fresh. Close to old Town for shopping and history.β

βIts always a quick in and out experience sometimes though I think they could do a better job of keeping the parking lot clear of just people parking there and holding up the flow of the traffic in a already congested area of Baton Rouge.β
βAbsolutely love this place! I go almost every single day, and all of the staff are always welcoming. All of the employees have great senses of humor, and we are all on a first-name basis. They have a diverse inventory and keep their shelves pretty well stocked. The hot food they serve during the day is pretty good too. The boudin is my favorite. Everything is priced well, also.β

βLove this place! Amazing food. I haven't ordered 1 thing I didn't like. My daughter doesn't even like fried fish, but she loves theirs! The menu is huge considering that it's just a gas station. They have red beans and rice, fried fish, fried chicken, meat pies, breakfast biscuits, eggs, grits, hash browns, and so much more! The food is always fresh since they constantly have a line. It's not like other places where it's been sitting for a while. The only negative thing is, they don't do breakfast on Saturday, and they aren't open on Sunday. Really wish they were, but hay, they got to have some down time like the rest of us.β

Now that we were getting out of covid-19 - mentally declining Putin wanted Ukraine so bad (he would of gone with former guy in office also) he called this war.. yes its war... a "Special military operations" - if it was called War NATO would be responding in much greater force. Also he had Joseph Goebbels propaganda wanna be Maksut Shadev at Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media for Russia telling that Ukrains are experimenting on babies, eating babies, and Russian's were going to be heros exposing this "truth to the world"... yeah didn't work out so well.tl;Dr or summary or Explaining like I would to a 5 year (close enough)Covid was locking world down for 2 years. Even though oil companies were making profits... they were greedy and wanted more. Finally restrictions easing... Russia though wants another country - Ukraine - so they were going ready or not. - Everyone blames to goverment, aka President of causing gas to rise or go down. He doesn't. He can effect the stock market a little depending on what he does but he can't effect gas prices at every city level. The answer.. Big Oil companies (Exxon, BP just to name a few) were greedy and got greedier, even during a war.As always Walmart Fuel pn hooper and joor are fantastic. No hassles or fuss with anything. Vehicles start when I get gas, no water found. Got walmart price snacks inside, saving me a trip some times on going even in wallmart itself. 5 out of 5 stars.β

βthe only gas station i shop at if i can help it. the employees are amazing and helpful, and the selection is great. and they seem to keep there items in stock far better than others. and unlike racetrack down the street b-quick say its 24 hours and they actually are, where as the racetrack down the street seems to just lock tye doors after hours and are hardly open when you need them.β
