“Wonderful bank! I used to go to this ban with my grandparents when I was a kid, as far back as when it was People's Bank. They are still the friendly, personable people they were back then.
I have had mostly good experiences with GCB, even what I find annoying, is actually a good experience if I am honest.
My card has been put in compromised status on a couple of occasions by the bank. I do all of my shopping and bill payments online, LITERALLY ALL! (I'm injured and need a hip replacement so walking is a literal PAIN)?
This causes you to only be able to run your card as a debit, meaning in person charges only. ? lol (crippling online purchases for a bit) But only until I make it to the bank to pick up a new card or til they mail it.
To me, not being able to make online orders is a PIA! But let's be honest, I'd much rather go into a store than the possible alternative (unknown charges)!
Im so Thankful that GCB is still here in St. Bernard; allowing me to continue banking with them as my grandparents did.
Why wouldn't you trust a bank that had been around for so many years? Especially one that is so friendly and ready to help!
