“I love this place. Lemme say that again, I LOVE THIS PLACE. There's a guy named zack(I think) that literally knows everything about every firearm that was ever made, and he doesn't know quite as much as the owner! For real, excellent customer service, and I'm no gun expert, but the prices seem good, definitely better than a gun show. They are locals in st Bernard parish. I've bought 3 firearms there total, and I won't shop anywhere else. They also got tons of fishing stuff(actually more fishing than guns) but that's not my thing. I recommend these folks ?”

“The staff was very helpful and even took the pants off the mannequin since it was the last size. We got what we needed and they checked other stores for what we didn't. They were nice and it was a good trip!”

“Can I just tell you how amazing your staff is?! Today I was walking by this shop, I have recently broke my foot and my boot broke. I was stunned and a little immobile. After some moments sitting on the curb, we walked into your shop, and your employees were so helpful, Kat was even able to fix my boot in 60 seconds! What amazing humans you have on staff!! Thank you for supporting community.”

“I am visiting her in New Orleans. Really needed shoes as my Nike shoes were hurting my feet, ankles and knees. The young girl talked to me about several brands of shoes that are better equipped than Nike. Finally went for the New Balance and really felt instantly better! Rest of the day I did not tire as I normally did and my feet felt comfortable in the New Balance. Thank you for answering my questions and working with me to achieve good feet health!”

“Support local. I’m a regular at their shop for maintenance on my bike, for grilling supplies, birthday yeti cooler for my dad, workout clothes, hiking and fishing gear for myself and my boyfriend. Buying from some mass retailer that doesn’t benefit local nola economy is for the birds. Big fan of their gear and customer service (will order your size or specific item from another one of their shops to avoid delivery fee.) thanks!”

“Outstanding service at this branch compared to the many others I visited over the years. The lady who assisted me was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me find the correct shoe size. Both her and her colleague were very professional, polite and pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be back whenever I get to visit NOLA again.”

“I went to the Academy Sporting Goods located in the old Westside Shopping Center in Gretna. I wanted to find a pair of compression sleeves to protect my arms against exposure and possibly sunburn while driving. I also picked up a couple of cooling towels.”

“I absolutely cannot say enough good about George Bass Men’s Clothing. Top end men’s clothing with impeccable service. George handles high end merchandise. He also has in-house tailoring to fit every garment perfectly. If you like working surgeon cuffs on your jacket, no problem. Prefer different buttons, they can do it. Great people to do business with.”

“Shoutout my guy Blu for helping me with my shopping experience. He was able to show me a few selections and provided the best discounted items for my specific needs!”

“I was happy with the selection as it was one of my many sneaker based shopping stops during my trip. The odd thing was the prices were standard for some but really elevated for others. For example I bought a pair of Nike Air Max 90's there for $140. Very standard price. I looked at a pair of Nike Dunk High Retro SE (red and black and green) - still available on Nike online for $100.97 but there for $135. Not worth it.If you are are looking for something specific that they have, then it is good because you will know what prices to expect. If you don't know what to expect and you pay whatever they are asking, you could easily be getting ripped off.”

“Foot locker has some great deals, for most people they'll usually have your size, I wear a 13/14 in some styles so they rarely have anything in my size, but when they do I usually get them because it's so hard to find shoes that fit. I recently picked up zoom divisions, which are similar to my 2020 zooms. I have quite an extensive collection, 3 pairs of aj 1s, 2 kyrie, 3 hauraches, 2 j max auras, 2 j b royals, numerous others I cant think of rn and now 2 zooms. I usually dont recieve any decent service at locations I dont visit often, this place was no different, I think if these people knew I wrote extensive reviews and have close to 50 pairs of nikes alone, I think I would be greeted and served much more quickly, I buy shoes I'd appreciate a little service.”

“I was in need of some new shoes during our New orleans trip. Foot locker was the best option we found. The employee who was helping me was on point. He was quick and very helpful throughout my time there. He was assisting multiple people, but he remembered what each person was in need of.”

“Foot Locker came in clutch when I was in NOLA. Walking the streets of the French Quarter did a job on my feet, and the "comfy" shoes I brought weren't comfy enough. Enter Foot Locker. Three pair of sneakers caught my eye, but sizing was completely different between them all. I finally landed on a pair of Huaraches which I learned were brand new. Brought socks but left them at the hotel, so $20 for a pack of socks added to my bill. That's a little ridiculous, but price and demand, right? The sales ppl were nice, all spent a lot of time talking and preventing more than 4 customers in the door. The one helping me seemed new, but there was another guy who stepped in and helped with the sale and he sprayed my new kicks before I took them on the road too. Spent way more time than expected in here, and forgot to take pics, but the visit was worth it.”
