They're country dogs that have 1/2 acre fenced yard that they just run in. They have never been leash trained and they can pull me all over the place. I took them in the door and the groomers immediately calmed them down. They did the exact work I asked them to do. When I picked them up they were completely calm and the groomers were working on an enormous golden retriever that was laying there cool as a cucumber. I would highly recommend and will use them again!

With that being said, after moving to the northshore, I couldn’t seem to find a vet that I trusted with my precious fur babies. Last Friday, Franklin was in heavy breathing distress. I rushed him into the vet that I WAS using. Before doing even one test, she told me he probably had a tumor on his liver. She then began tests and gave him medications, all totalling $515 (there was no tumor). I left with a terrible feeling that I was being taken advantage of. I prayed and prayed for God’s discernment. I was led to another vet, and from the moment we met this morning, I knew he was in the right hands. Her name is Dr. Katie at The Maher Animal Hospital in Covington. Her ability to explain in-depth and in layman’s terms all the tests and bloodwork further confirmed that I was in the right place. I would highly recommend her and this place to all pet owners. Franklin is on the right track. And Princess will be meeting Dr. Katie soon for her checkup!!!

Soon after we also transitioned to our pup receiving veterinary care here too along with overnight boarding. The staff and vets at AHC are so caring, kind, and patient. They took great care of our pup. We sadly moved states and have left AHC behind and finding a new facility for our pup is one of the saddest parts of our move. I'm not sure we will ever find a place that compares to AHC. I'm attaching a video from the webcam that I was so happy I happened to see one day and it truly shows the one on one attention that every animal gets here. I hope Tasha doesn't mind!!

He has a tumor that we were previously told was cancerous & he ill need his leg amputated. Since seeing Dr.Posey Jets tumor has shrunk a significant amount in size. He was also having issues with his back legs as he has bad arthritis. Since starting acupuncture therapy Jets legs/hips have done a 360, he can finally enjoy his long walks again! We are so happy with our improvements!

The vet, who had only seen my dog once before was very nice and remembered his name. Although he wasn’t very successful at his job the vet was at hers. She had us in and out with some tips on how to improve the chances of a good collection next time. If I didn’t live out of state, I would bring my dogs here. They also had facilities for horses and I assume, other large animals. Nice, large facility.

Dr. Yates clearly cares about the pets that come through this office. He treated our dog like it was his own, even describing our lab as his “kid” and sitting on the floor petting her while we went over the treat plans for her. The whole process was very smooth and reinsured us she was in good hands.

Ms. Jean is very adaptable to scheduling, and with my work schedule, it took a while to get through all 8 lessons. What I'd say for overall training is Ms. Jean is extraordinarily passionate to train dogs to be fully obedient. She takes the time to really get every lesson down with you and your dog. I've never had a dog, or really been around a dog, as well behaved as my dog is now. His obedience on and off leash opens him to many more adventures and overall increases his quality of life. I can not possibly recommend this trainer enough. Included with the private lessons, I can even drop into group lessons or schedule tune-up lessons with my dog (for free) if I ever run into any problems. Furthermore, I learned a ton about dog training and now feel confident to teach any future dogs the same methods and be just as effective. Please contact JCM if you're looking to train your dog. Her methods really work.

Very swank laid back, few people working on computers and the back patio full chatter. I sat inside because I like to watch the flow of the restaurant. Ordered the Italian sandwich hands down a winner. Everything was fresh and made in house. Forgot take a picture but definitely plan to return. Was complete with everything I expected I great Italian to include. They do counter service food come out gas and efficient. Line moves quickly. All the workers were going non stop and seemed to do everything. Great job crazy ladies.

It was a few minutes out my way but i was craving a snowball after the extremely hot day. So since they were open until 8 i gave them a shot. An boy was i glad i did. I’ve had snowballs from what seams like hundreds of different snowball stands. Ive had some of the best snowballs you can find. Being i was raised and lived in New Orleans until i was 24 so ive tried every snowball stand around. So ive seen some reviews saying LouLa’s were good but thats a disservice. When i got my large Chocolate with condensed milk it looked very good but i took that first bite and WOW is what i literally said to myself. Easily one of the best snowballs Ive ever had. The chocolate was perfect and they weren’t greedy with the syrup like some places. The condense milk was nice and thick. The snowball was just perfect. It was just what i was looking for. I just wish it was closer to where i live so i could go all the time. The location itself was great also. They have more then snowballs and if you want it to go or you want to sit outside and enjoy your snowball they have plenty of chairs and tables for you to sit and enjoy your snowball or whatever you order. They have plenty parking space as well. Bottom line. SnowBall A+ Location A+ Service A+ Quality A+ Time Open/Business Hours A+ Overall A+++. If you like snowballs and are in the area or you just want a 5 star snowball then LouLa’s is the place for you! Go see them and get yourself a chocolate snowball w/ condensed milk! You won’t regret it!

The red curry was so comforting, it would be a best thing to have in a rainy day. Pad thai was also yummmm. We were thinking of going to a different place but somehow ended up in thai spice, serendipity! Ambience wise i felt a bit lacking but the food made it up to us.

Now wanting to get one for our 5 yr, I knew where quality was and returned there from Houston for a mini- Goldendoodle. We kind of have some allergy issues now, hence the Doodle choice. Her farm and breeding stock is even more amazing now! Could have spent all day visiting and petting the beautiful dogs. And with Leslie’s 40+ yrs in breeding, I’m sure the quality is even better no matter what breed you choose. Penny has had a great first week at home with her new family and we look forward to a long, long life with us. She is precious! Thanks Leslie!
