They're country dogs that have 1/2 acre fenced yard that they just run in. They have never been leash trained and they can pull me all over the place. I took them in the door and the groomers immediately calmed them down. They did the exact work I asked them to do. When I picked them up they were completely calm and the groomers were working on an enormous golden retriever that was laying there cool as a cucumber. I would highly recommend and will use them again!

Recently, he treated one of my dachshunds with a broken jaw. He consulted with a specialist to determine the recommended course of treatment and possible outcome, saving me $5,000 for surgery. He treated her and followed up weekly until her broken jaw was repaired. I have depended on Dr.Greg to take care of my animals for several years. I like his patient, kind demeanor no matter what he is faced with and I will continue going to him in the future.

Also, her assistant Kristi is wonderful, so kind and helpful, and you can tell she really cares about the animals too. Dr. Yates clearly cares about the pets that come through this office. He treated our dog like it was his own, even describing our lab as his “kid” and sitting on the floor petting her while we went over the treat plans for her. The whole process was very smooth and reinsured us she was in good hands.

1751 Airline Drive, MetairieThis program is great. I bought the full 8 week private lessons for my Boykin Spaniel. Ms. Jean is very adaptable to scheduling, and with my work schedule, it took a while to get through all 8 lessons. What I'd say for overall training is Ms. Jean is extraordinarily passionate to train dogs to be fully obedient. She takes the time to really get every lesson down with you and your dog. I've never had a dog, or really been around a dog, as well behaved as my dog is now. His obedience on and off leash opens him to many more adventures and overall increases his quality of life. I can not possibly recommend this trainer enough. Included with the private lessons, I can even drop into group lessons or schedule tune-up lessons with my dog (for free) if I ever run into any problems. Furthermore, I learned a ton about dog training and now feel confident to teach any future dogs the same methods and be just as effective. Please contact JCM if you're looking to train your dog. Her methods really work.

I've boarded him at 3 different places in the last 3 years, and the search has ended. The owner was very accommodating, and Ollie came home fit and happy. He could come and go from a climate controlled room to a private yard as he pleased, and had access to a large yard every day.
This is where he'll be boarding during my travels going forward.

They were so fast, had your order ready within a few minutes and were super friendly. I also loved how they allowed parade goers to still use their restroom if needed. I will definitely be back their gumbo was soo good.

I love trying different types of biscuits and these are so far one of the best I’ve had.
The only odd situation we encounter was, we asked to be moved to a different table but for some reason we couldn’t be moved, we were sitting really close to an outside door and every time the door opened a rush of cold air kept hitting us, making us uncomfortable.
When our meal arrived we insisted to be moved but still no action taken.
Finally , the waitress told us to move to a table we didn’t want but it was better than the original one.
She explained later that the table we requested to be moved to, belonged to a different area ( a different waitress/waiter).
At the end, we enjoyed our meal and I’ll be mindful next time where to sit.

It was a few minutes out my way but i was craving a snowball after the extremely hot day. So since they were open until 8 i gave them a shot. An boy was i glad i did. I’ve had snowballs from what seams like hundreds of different snowball stands. Ive had some of the best snowballs you can find. Being i was raised and lived in New Orleans until i was 24 so ive tried every snowball stand around. So ive seen some reviews saying LouLa’s were good but thats a disservice. When i got my large Chocolate with condensed milk it looked very good but i took that first bite and WOW is what i literally said to myself. Easily one of the best snowballs Ive ever had. The chocolate was perfect and they weren’t greedy with the syrup like some places. The condense milk was nice and thick. The snowball was just perfect. It was just what i was looking for. I just wish it was closer to where i live so i could go all the time. The location itself was great also. They have more then snowballs and if you want it to go or you want to sit outside and enjoy your snowball they have plenty of chairs and tables for you to sit and enjoy your snowball or whatever you order. They have plenty parking space as well. Bottom line. SnowBall A+ Location A+ Service A+ Quality A+ Time Open/Business Hours A+ Overall A+++. If you like snowballs and are in the area or you just want a 5 star snowball then LouLa’s is the place for you! Go see them and get yourself a chocolate snowball w/ condensed milk! You won’t regret it!

The downside of the whole thing is if you see the picture that I posted was four little wings for $8. On the menu it said jumbo wings. I don't think these are $8 worth of chicken wings. In fact, they gave me more sauce than would ever be expected for four wings. I would go there for the beer but definitely not for the food

79093 Doug Jarrell Rd, CovingtonI bought my first 2 dogs, Golden Ret’s, from the Jarrell’s 35 yrs ago. Most intelligent, affectionate dogs you can imagine. Now wanting to get one for our 5 yr, I knew where quality was and returned there from Houston for a mini- Goldendoodle. We kind of have some allergy issues now, hence the Doodle choice. Her farm and breeding stock is even more amazing now! Could have spent all day visiting and petting the beautiful dogs. And with Leslie’s 40+ yrs in breeding, I’m sure the quality is even better no matter what breed you choose. Penny has had a great first week at home with her new family and we look forward to a long, long life with us. She is precious! Thanks Leslie!
