Recently, he treated one of my dachshunds with a broken jaw. He consulted with a specialist to determine the recommended course of treatment and possible outcome, saving me $5,000 for surgery. He treated her and followed up weekly until her broken jaw was repaired. I have depended on Dr.Greg to take care of my animals for several years. I like his patient, kind demeanor no matter what he is faced with and I will continue going to him in the future.

She’s super knowledgeable, gentle, and really takes the time to understand what your pet needs. My dog Luna is usually a little nervous, but she relaxed pretty quickly with Dr. Posey. Also, her assistant Kristi is wonderful, so kind and helpful, and you can tell she really cares about the animals too. Highly recommend their office if you're looking for a more holistic approach to your pet’s care.

Ms. Jean is very adaptable to scheduling, and with my work schedule, it took a while to get through all 8 lessons. What I'd say for overall training is Ms. Jean is extraordinarily passionate to train dogs to be fully obedient. She takes the time to really get every lesson down with you and your dog. I've never had a dog, or really been around a dog, as well behaved as my dog is now. His obedience on and off leash opens him to many more adventures and overall increases his quality of life. I can not possibly recommend this trainer enough. Included with the private lessons, I can even drop into group lessons or schedule tune-up lessons with my dog (for free) if I ever run into any problems. Furthermore, I learned a ton about dog training and now feel confident to teach any future dogs the same methods and be just as effective. Please contact JCM if you're looking to train your dog. Her methods really work.

I had the shrimp stuffed with crab meat. It appears as large shrimps (3) cooked within a crab cake. I was disappointed because the crab cakes seemed less crab and more stuffing. The crab meat must have been blended into nonexistence. There just wasn't much flavor to them either. I guess I had higher expectations from a restaurant that others had raved about. The onion rings were very good.
We ate around 2:30pm on a hump day. Don't know if it had anything to do with it.

It was a few minutes out my way but i was craving a snowball after the extremely hot day. So since they were open until 8 i gave them a shot. An boy was i glad i did. I’ve had snowballs from what seams like hundreds of different snowball stands. Ive had some of the best snowballs you can find. Being i was raised and lived in New Orleans until i was 24 so ive tried every snowball stand around. So ive seen some reviews saying LouLa’s were good but thats a disservice. When i got my large Chocolate with condensed milk it looked very good but i took that first bite and WOW is what i literally said to myself. Easily one of the best snowballs Ive ever had. The chocolate was perfect and they weren’t greedy with the syrup like some places. The condense milk was nice and thick. The snowball was just perfect. It was just what i was looking for. I just wish it was closer to where i live so i could go all the time. The location itself was great also. They have more then snowballs and if you want it to go or you want to sit outside and enjoy your snowball they have plenty of chairs and tables for you to sit and enjoy your snowball or whatever you order. They have plenty parking space as well. Bottom line. SnowBall A+ Location A+ Service A+ Quality A+ Time Open/Business Hours A+ Overall A+++. If you like snowballs and are in the area or you just want a 5 star snowball then LouLa’s is the place for you! Go see them and get yourself a chocolate snowball w/ condensed milk! You won’t regret it!

Hoodoo Ice Cream
405 N Columbia St, CovingtonI’ve been supporting Hoodoo since they were at the Covington Farmer’s Market and bought pints throughout COVID. Their ice cream is comparable to Haagen Dazs and plenty other high quality ice cream. It is unbeatable for a small business ice cream shop—they make their own ice cream from scratch using local ingredients. I absolutely love their regular flavors, and even their special flavors or dairy-free options. When they make seasonal flavors, it is always a must try.
I struggle choosing what I want each visit because they’ve done everything I’ve ordered right. The malts? Heart-eye emoji. The cone? Irresistible. It’s made fresh to order and smells so good when you walk in. I like to get an extra cone to-go and make crumbled toppings out of it for the pints I take home. I’ve even had their ice cream cake!
Tips: Try a combination of banana foster with chocolate or strawberry with creole cream cheese. Or if you’re like me, Neapolitan shake. It’s just all THAT good.
Can’t wait until they bring back rocky road or coconut almond chocolate chip (dairy-free).
