“There are two Brookshire Brothers in DeRidder. This one is East of town on 190/171, the other is West on 190.Each has a little different selection. You have to know which carries what you want.This one (East) sells liquor inside, dried mushrooms, and has fewer meat and seafood choices, but a great and different vegitable selection.”
“Some of the finest marbled meat, grass fed, no hormones! Bought half a cow, best investment! Meat is tender, juicy, and can taste the flavor of what true unprocessed beef taste like! Would recommend it to anyone and if you are a fan of yellowstone tv show, the guy who delivered looks like Rip!”

“I think the dg is lil better then most stores. It sure is easier to go in the dg & come out with ur groceries. Rather then, any big store like- walmart, or brok- shall Brothers. U will come out with less stuff, & still be in a long line waiting for the cashier to scan my few items.”

“Great place to work with great co-workers. Employers treat you like family and really care about their employees. As in alot of businesses these days, there has been alot of changes in employees, but you have to weed out the bad to get to the good. Staff is friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure customers are happy. Breakfast is now served all day along with the regular menu. You can call in orders now as early as 5am (Mon-Sat) and 7am on Sundays.”
“So, I was in this store the day after black Friday. People were still on a buying frenzy, even for the area's most quaint location. There was a line, but it was moving quickly. I thought there was a full staff working. Nope, there was one cashier. He had 2 registers open and was moving so efficiently that it took me a moment to realize he was only one person. Not just efficient, but also so personable, kind and conversational. Every customer within my line of sight had a smile on their face.
So to whoever the powers are that be, Mr. Solomon needs a raise. He should be nominated for Beaurgard Parish Employee of the Year.”
“I have to say this is the best dollar general I've ever been inside of in my life. The ones in Leesville, last time I went in there you could barely squeeze down the aisles. So I typically try to avoid dollar general like the plague, but on my way back from lake Charles decided to stop in and I am amazed . The place is so clean and tidy, and the lady working there was so good at her job, that I walked out smiling. She had good people skills and was fast as could be. This will be the only dollar store I shop at from here on out.”
