“We stayed here as a family near the holidays for a week of personnel time off to see family. Hotel is clean, and staff is very friendly.
Leigh was very friendly and extremely helpful during the stay as well. There was an issue where another guest microwaved something that was not microwave safe, and he set the alarm in his room off. Leigh handled the issue professionally, and she did a great job comforting other guests as well.”
“Excellent place to stay when in Houma! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. So far, in the last 20 years...this has been the best place we've stayed when coming back home for visits! I highly recommend. This is the best place to stay when in Houma.”

“I am a Hilton Honor member. This Hampton Inn is above average from the others I’ve visited across the country. Wonderful staff. Extremely comfortable beds. Nothing to complain about cleanliness. Great places to eat nearby. More selections on the breakfast bar.
The only complaint that I have is that the 3rd floor exterior window is filthy from green mildew. I always stay on the top floor with the shades and curtains open.”
“This was our second stay both for two nights and couldn't be happier with our experience. We will no longer stay anywhere else. Thomas checked us in and was so polite and extremely helpful. I did not catch the morning staffs name but they were friendly and attentive. The rooms are nice and well kept didnt have ppl partying all hours of the night.”
“Room was nice and had been remodeled. Nice clean place located close to everything you could need. Tucked back off road and behind Red Fish Pizza Restaurant. Owners are very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be staying with them again in the future ? Thank you for all your hospitality.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and linens were fresh and clean.
Food & drinks: Located 3 blocks from MLK Dr where every restaurant you can think of is on this strip fast food casual or fine dining it was there.”
“Okay, we did encounter some minor problems. Leaking AC , 2nd room some toilet issues. The speed of the staff was excellent. The staff thinks on the run. Everything was excellent. 5 minutes to find answers to all problems. Polite kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are spotless and the gathering areas plentiful”

“So there was some questionable parts of this hotel that was not exactly pleasing. The pictures posted with this review shows those things that are a little questionable. It was not the worst place I've ever stayed but it could use some cleaning or more thorough cleaning when preparing a room also we only had one set of towels in the room but had reserved the room for two people so we had to go get another set. The Hotel staff we're extremely accommodating and very nice and check in and check out went quickly. The location is convenient for the main strip which is Canal Street with lots of food options nearby. I would recommend it for someone who's not looking for upscale or even moderately upscale or even average you're just looking for a place to sleep not bad for the price”

“Stay there Mid-May 2025 and the front desk person (Kaylie) was exceptionally great at being warm, courteous, helpful, and welcoming. To be honest, I come across the opposite traits with people in general these days. The hotel pool was nice and the room and maids were very nice too! The location was ideal: just far enough from and just close enough to Houma. I'll absolutely be back!!!!”
