“We stayed here as a family near the holidays for a week of personnel time off to see family. Hotel is clean, and staff is very friendly.
Leigh was very friendly and extremely helpful during the stay as well. There was an issue where another guest microwaved something that was not microwave safe, and he set the alarm in his room off. Leigh handled the issue professionally, and she did a great job comforting other guests as well.”

“I am a Hilton Honor member. This Hampton Inn is above average from the others I’ve visited across the country. Wonderful staff. Extremely comfortable beds. Nothing to complain about cleanliness. Great places to eat nearby. More selections on the breakfast bar.
The only complaint that I have is that the 3rd floor exterior window is filthy from green mildew. I always stay on the top floor with the shades and curtains open.”

“I stayed here a few nights during Mardi Gras 2026. The accommodations and hospitality were better than what I expected. Whether you were driving to the parade route or to grab something quick to eat was never a hassle. Everything you needed was a short trip. If ever you are in the Houma area and looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend Plantation Inn.”
“Room was nice and had been remodeled. Nice clean place located close to everything you could need. Tucked back off road and behind Red Fish Pizza Restaurant. Owners are very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be staying with them again in the future ? Thank you for all your hospitality.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and linens were fresh and clean.
Food & drinks: Located 3 blocks from MLK Dr where every restaurant you can think of is on this strip fast food casual or fine dining it was there.”
“An older motor lodge style motel, Yes rooms could use updating and would be almost perfect if they would remove the carpet from the rooms. All and all it is a convenient location, clean well stocked room offering fridge and microwave, cable tv and wi-fi. The front desk person/manager is very nice and helpful. I visit the L almost every time I go to Thibodaux. And yes, I have stayed at the swanky / pricer hotels yes they had pools and fancy furnishings BUT Bayou L had nostalgic charm and quaint comfort not to mention enough hot water for a very long relaxing hot shower after a long road trip.”

“Okay, we did encounter some minor problems. Leaking AC , 2nd room some toilet issues. The speed of the staff was excellent. The staff thinks on the run. Everything was excellent. 5 minutes to find answers to all problems. Polite kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are spotless and the gathering areas plentiful”
