“This place is awesome!! Great at finding that hard to locate item. I go for Die cast cars & comics. It's also great for coffee lovers too they have a really good dry stores area. But make sure to check the dates. Also if is outta date you can save lots any where from 50%-95% off especially cereals & pop tarts are anything in the grocery area. Now they don't have cooler or freezer sections.”
“First time to shop at this location. The store was neat clean, and the isle was clear of restocking goods. Not anything like the Dollar General by my house, which always has their restocking goods down every aisle. I was able to get in and out rather quickly.”

“I went to this store based on location convenience. The store was a little in disarray, but completely understandable as they have a lot of things marked down after the holiday and the general public has little to no regard of how they leave things in retail stores. There were employees working on rezoning the aisles and I could see the progress they were making. But the customer service alone will bring me back to this location. Every employee I encountered greeted me and asked if I needed help. Everyone was super friendly and from observing and talking with a few I can tell that they take pride in this store and really care that the customers are taken care of!! I observed who I think was the manager and she was awesome - in making sure customers were greeted and employees were staying on top of what needed taken care of. Will definitely go back.”

“Five Below is like a dollar store and a carnival had a very enthusiastic child. I walk in for one thing and leave with glitter slime, a lava lamp, sour candy, a t-shirt that says “Mood,” and no memory of how I got there.
It feels like a reality show. The aisles are wild, the soundtrack is bumpin’, and at any moment I expect someone to yell “You have 60 seconds to fill your cart—GO!” The self-checkout? Questionable. I’m 80% sure I accidentally tipped the machine.
Now let’s talk about the tech section. Bless it. It’s full of $5 headphones that look like AirPods but will cut out the second you put your phone in your pocket. Charging cables that last about as long as a gas station hot dog. Bluetooth speakers that play music and white noise—at the same time. It’s not high-end, but it’s high-effort chaos, and I respect that.

“This is the best Dollar General in North Baton Rouge. I frequent this particular Dollar General quite often as the customer service is always impeccable. The staff there is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming, warm and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and they always have everything that I need in stock. The staff always greets you as you walk in and they are always available and willing to assist.”

“This is the biggest of the three Dollar Trees I shop at. The Walmart super center is across the street. I frequently find items that the other stores do not carry or out of stock. The employees are both helpfully and friendly.”
“Everyone I know goes to the Neighborhood Market.It is more convenient for everyone in Central as well as North Baton Rouge. We no longer go to Walmart by the mall. However, the one by the old mall is still needed. There lots of people still need that one because it is convenient for them to get there. I feel the old mall does have what the Neighborhood Walmart doesn't carry. These two needs to stay opened for sure.”

“It would really be nice when you walk into a store and the cashier is 5 feet from you and she sees you, she should say hello. Also when you walk up to the register she should ask you how are you, something not stand there and look at you.”
“Absolutely can't speak highly enough of the new management at this location. Not only is the store cleaner, more organized, less time waiting in checkout, well stocked, but the lady manager has always had a smile on her face and helpful, and the young man was as well. Very friendly and always a joy to see. Hard to find employees as kind as these”
“Typical Dollar general store stock is never completely put up is only one or two employees there and they're usually out on the floor but all in all the prices are pretty good and the employees are polite”

“Dollar General is like a mini Walmart. They have a little of everything. If I'm press for time, I usually go to Dollar General and I usually get my bucks worth at the Dollar General.”

Besides that though … so much for convenience because every time I come by on my way from work they close at 8 , they should be open till 9 so tell me why they lock the doors between 8 and 8:30 ???
It would be even better if they stayed open till 10 but they could at least stay open till their posted hours.”
