2440 W Thomas St, HammondMy family and I came into the Hammond location about an hour before closing time in hopes of adopting a hamster for our son’s first small pet. As we looked over the hamsters we initially picked out a Fancy Hamster. The associate that came to help us was Kyle, and we are so appreciative of his knowledge and helpfulness. He asked us about of hamster cage at home and recommended a different breed of hamster that best suited our habitat set up. He then started interacting with all the appropriate hamsters in order to find one with a good temperament for our 9 year old. It may have just been another Tuesday night for Kyle, but for our family he really went above and beyond to make sure we got the right pet and shared his recommendations on what we should have at home to make a hamster happy. I’m not sure if Kyle will even see this review, but I hope he does. Thank you, Kyle, we really do appreciate your time and knowledge!

The staff is incredibly friendly and understanding. I brought in a new dog that I had picked up as a stray. They were so patient with him. They listened to my concerns and went over our treatment options without pressuring me or making me feel guilty about not having enough money to be able to do everything on the plan. They thoroughly explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. We will definitely be going back to Countryside!

They kept me up to date on everything and asked permission throughout the entire process. They even quoted me a price for everything and answered the grocery list of questions and concerns I had. This was my first time going here and I'm so happy I chose this place. I will be bringing my fur babies here from now on.

Every visit they send a report card to show how your dog did during their stay.
Their manners classes are also a great learning experience for the dog and owner.

1709 Corbin Rd, HammondVisited for the first time last night for the podcast event. Wasnt too crowded and there was a man working that did his best to get everyone a chair. The strawberry beer was SO good. We walked across the street and ordered some food. The nachos were seriously some of the best I've ever eaten. Onion rings were fried to perfection. The bartenders and kitchen staff were very friendly and efficient. The music was awesome. Was it a dirty dancing sountrack?!? Whatever it was, my friend and I loved singing along! I drove an hour to get there and will for sure make that trip again in the future.
