14609 Airline Hwy Suite 104, GonzalesI visited the Petco in Gonzales on Friday, August 28, 2026, and I continue to be impressed with this store. One of the things that really stands out is how well-stocked and ready for business the store consistently is. The shelves were full, merchandise was organized, and everything I needed for my dog was available. It’s refreshing to walk into a store that clearly takes pride in keeping products in stock and making shopping easy for its customers.
Beyond the great in-stock conditions, the entire store was neat, clean, organized, and inviting. As I walked through the store shopping for dog food, multiple employees acknowledged me and asked if I needed any help. You could tell the team was engaged with customers rather than simply completing tasks.
The checkout experience was just as impressive. There was almost no wait, the interaction was friendly, and even the grooming employee waved to me as I was leaving. I also noticed that customers entering the store were consistently being greeted.
This is what a great retail experience should look like: full shelves, a clean and organized store, friendly employees, quick checkout, and a team that makes customers feel welcome. The Gonzales Petco team is doing an outstanding job. Keep up the great work!

I was a wreck trying to figure out what’s the best course of action. I called and spoke with Shay who was extremely informative in not only what to give for cure & prevention, but also ways to treat my home as well as other prevention I could have her on. My drinks are always perfect, and I love the music they play! My only concern is for the employees. We live in Louisiana and the heat is no joke. These girls are out there sweating while still giving amazing customer service. 7 Brew PLEASE get them some fans or misters!! They work way too hard to be standing in that kind of heat. 2460 W Outfitters Dr, GonzalesThe food is so GOOD here. The chicken was crispy, the sauce was heaping, the pasta was great, and the breadsticks tasted fresh out the oven. The restaurant was quiet and peaceful. Manager Amanda is doing a great job running this place while also talking to every table and making sure they’re having a great experience. Server Savannah was efficient and thoughtful. I will be back for sure!

I ordered a lavender lemon drop that could’ve been a bit more chilled, but I still enjoyed it. Price for the House platter was very reasonable for the amount of food we received. Restroom and dining room was clean, the atmosphere was laid back, and the music was perfect.
