“I've been going to Going Postal for years. I have my mail and package sent here. I've used their services for sending package as well as car title transfer and plates. It is very convenient, but the real difference is the people here. Friendly, informative, and always helpful, it's a great contrast to the post office! Lol”
“I stopped by to find out about shipping items, if they could pack them, and to see if they had any postcards. My good friend Miss Eva was born in New Orleans nearly 80 years ago, and she now lives in California, so I wanted to make sure I sent her a card. They may have the best selection of postcards in New Orleans! And lots of fabulous items, like the mushroom lamp, and the Freddie Mercury and Harriet Tubman Saint candles.
I use a Walker with a seat, because I have arthritis in my hips and spine and have to sit every few minutes. They have the saloon style Swinging Doors which are now my favorite, and one small step to get inside. And the aisles are wide enough to be able to navigate with a walker. There were many places in the French Quarter that I could get inside but then couldn't move around once I was in. This was not one of them.
They did an outstanding job packing my two boxes. There were several breakables and nothing was broken! Such careful packing! Also they checked all their shipping options to see what was the cheapest for me. And they have free maps of the French Quarter, which would have been handier if I had discovered them before my last day there 😂
But the real joy was watching them interact with the locals, who they all knew by name, including their dogs! They have two sizes of dog treats, and every dog got one for free while I was there. One woman had a stroller with three chihuahuas, and the clerk made sure that the oldest toothless one got his treat! The other two were being a bit greedy. And such kindness to the young woman who needed some lyrics sheets printed!
I had the pleasure of interacting with all three people working there on my three visits, and they were the epitome of kindness and patience with me. I am not the easiest customer, because I have brain damage, and I don't always understand what people are saying. And there were forms to fill out for the shipping, which are always a challenge for me. They made sure I understood the cost, and had me take photos of the printed labels for the tracking.
I came to New Orleans for the music, the art, and the food, but time and again it was the wonderful people that took my breath away.
This was my first trip to the city, and I'm going to do my best to go back as soon as I can afford it. If I do make it, I will be sure to go back to the French Quarter Postal Emporium.”
“Kiomara and Tasure couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They printed Amazon return sticker using QR code. And with a big smile. This inside convention centre. This wasn’t listen on Amazon as a UPS drop off but it worked. Thank you!”

“4 stars because one of the ladies wasn't so welcoming. I didn't know how to use the cutting tool and was left to figure it out. The lighter young lady was very professional and explained the services I needed whilst the other one barely knew what equipment was working after I already paid for the service. I specifically went to this location after receiving a recommendation plus reading the bad reviews on the other location. Gave it 4 stars all because of the one young lady who went above and beyond to help me out. The store is tidy, organized and has tools to get any job done”
“A little hard to find. On the Mezzanine level of the hotel. Take the elevator up or 2 escalators. It's not a scam like some people are saying. Some things have a service fee; Some don't. The gentleman working there was friendly and explained the process well.”
