“Micheals is a good place to buy your crafts, wedding accessories etc. The cashiers are helpful, & courteous, the prices are reasonable, & the store is clean. I had a good experience buying my wedding flowers etc. from them.”

“This is hands down the best hobby shop I've been to. I drive 30 min away to get my parts from westbank hobbies when I have a hobby shop 5 min from my house and can get a discount because I had a family member that passed away that used to work there. But I rather spend the extra money in gas to get amazing customer service and good advice than save a few dollars. These people really seem to care about customers and always want to help even if I'm not spending any money. I've been going to westbank hobbies for all my rc parts and help for a while now and never had a problem. Besides a traxxas charger that stopped working and they resolved the problem with no Issues. Thank y'all for all the help and advice.”

“Great shop for those who love paper, pens, ink, and related items. Very helpful staff and owner. We stayed in New Orleans for a week, and I was drawn to visit the store, every single day, thinking of new small things that I would like for myself, and is gifts for other people. The owner Patrick was a pleasure to meet, and his vision, and that of the staff Like James gave me inspirations.”

“Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable on their stock. Go4 offers a wide selection of RPG books and supplies as well as trading bards, sleeves, deck boxes, binders, and singles. The play space is always clean and well maintained. Definitely the best LGS in Metairie for actually playing games”

“Always find what I need when crafting. Very helpful staff. A little bummed out that it's mostly self check now. Most of my inspiration comes for talking with the cashiers and whenever I forget something one of them reminds me you know you're going to need blah-blah to help finish your project. Overall I love this place.”

“Absolutely loved their selection of unique NOLA shirts, they're levels above and beyond in terms of quality and design from the stores on the main drag in the FQ. The prices were fair and they had a decent selection of items. Worth getting off of the main street and over to Royal for better quality gift shops like this one.”

“Enjoy stopping in Hub when i am in the area from Bham, AL. The old location on Broad Street was truly a magical place to visit. Good selection of HO scale trains. I remember when the Athearn kit rolling stock was 4.25, each, and the locomotives were 25.00, each. Good times. Anyway, great place to visit and shop.”

“For a novice like myself, it was overwhelming when entering this store. But as I made my way through the aisles, it quickly became clear what each section was for. If you don't know why you're there when you go, then you will definitely know at least 20 different projects that you will want to try!”

“Despite this being the closest Michaels to where I live, I have only recently visited here. Plenty of parking in front and on the side. Walking in, everything is neat, clean and well organized. There were several employees walking around, but all were on their own mission of stocking or whatever. The check out employee was friendly enough, and got me a discount for being whatever member. There is a lot of stuff to choose from. I will be back!”

“My print was framed beautifully & ready days before the stated date by the very talented, helpful & exceptionally friendly framer! Lots of wonderfully creative ideas and choices given by framer for questions I had. Good information on preservation paper/mat, materials, and glass.”

“This is an adorable weird little store! They have hundreds if not thousands of limoges, which are these little porcelain boxes. The woman working there was extremely friendly and told us that all of them were hand painted porcelain and shipped from Italy. Each piece is unique and they have them in everything you could imagine, from cats and dogs to vegetables and even chairs! You could spend hours looking at these. They're all around $140-225 because of the detail that goes into making them, so we left without buying any but we were obsessed with this shop”

“Best purchase ever. Costumer service so great. I spoke with someone on the phone as well as on IG. The response time is very fast. The shopping was so easy online. I really wanted to go to the actual store, but I couldn’t find the time to be able to fly in. I ordered offline and received my cars within a week. Everything about the cars are nice. I brought them from my twins first birthday. My babies love them. The speakers are really loud and I can hear my babies playing the music from across the street. Cars are very spacious. The window of the car is pretty big also, my friend was able to put their names on it. I will be shopping again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

“In a world of everything the same, this is one of those unique shops from an earlier era. The Black Butterfly, a long time French Quarter family-owned store, is worth a visit just to see.”
