Everything was great until I encountered the owner. I do not eat hotel hot breakfast unless I'm at Hilton or Hampton Inn. They serve potatoes and bacon. I don't care for the bagged eggs or sausages that most lower level hotels serve. I paid 170 a night and stayed 2 nights. I usually grab coffee and a banana and then drive into New Orleans. This particular morning I could not sleep breakfast starts at 630 and I was in the kitchen at 620am.The owner displayed hostility bc I was in kitchen 10 mins to early. For the money I paid, it appeared to be an act of pettiness. I just wanted a bowl of raisin bran. The front desk and room service were great! The owner needs to take lessons in hospitality.

Good attention from staff, friendly. Cleanliness in this case shines, but by its absence. The sofa in the room smelled horrible and had dried white stains on it. The carpet has not been vacuumed in months, although much cleaner than the one in reception. I don't recommend it to ever go.

Room not as clean as I like, no bathroom vent fan. Other guests in our have issues with their rooms as well. For example, no working TV, they were told it will be fixed tomorrow ( they will be gone by then), no working shower .Although I have been disappointed, I would consider using this place again.Nearby airport didn't cause any noise problems for me. Bed bugs! Was checked into room 407, was relaxing, watching TV when 2 bed bugs crawled across the sheets (verified with a bug identification app). Was moved to room 423 which was an upgrade to a suite but this one had a lizard in the bathroom...yes a lizard! It was tiny and didn't bother us so decided to stay (and we were kind of stuck as we were with friends with no vehicle). The evening front desk was very nice and accommodating but the morning ckerk was very indifferent about what had taken place. Was only given $25 credit for our trouble which was surprising as I wouldn't think they would want me to leave this kind of review. We have stayed at this property before and was very pleased which is why we chose it for this trip but never again!

Hotel is located conveniently near Louis Armstrong Airport and had Airport Shuttle. It is very nice, clean & staff is very courteous. Hot Breakfast included w/large variety of items. Young lady overseeing breakfast diligently working to keep buffet clean & fresh. Very pleasant. My only problem was long term parking. While I thought I called hotel direct, making my reservation directly with hotel, it ended up being thru 3rd party. I questioned long term parking at time of reservation. The young man even put me on hold twice to verify that long term parking was included in hotel fees, for up to ten (10) days. He even upgraded my room for a reasonable price. However, When I checked out at 6:30am the next morning, I found this not to be the case. I Was informed it only included first nite parking, w/remaining nites billed @$13+ However, as I explained, had I known this was the case, I would not have booked stay w/Comfort Inn. I would have parked at US Park for the same price and stayed at a much cheaper hotel. Carl took care of the parking issue for me. Just be sure you are speaking directly w/hotel for parking information, as it does include long term parking as was indicated.

This property was convenient to the airport. There was construction going on each floor and according to the manager, the rooms were getting upgrades as well. Nice design with the corner sink, but not enough light. Hopefully that's one of the upgrades. The service was good. There was no waffle maker there. That would be a good addition to breakfast.

Did not know there was severe water damage to this property when I booked the reservation. Because of the scaffolding and the interior damage, the pool was closed, and the air port shuttle was not serving the hotel. I specifically booked this hotel for the shuttle service, so that was a huge last-minute problem for me and my 6 kids. The room wasn't terrible, but it could have been much cleaner.

In its current condition, I rate this hotel at one star for the lady at the front desk was kind and accommodating. Everything else is bad. I am very surprised that this hotel has an occupancy permit. The hotel is under renovation. The elevators do not work and you will have to care your luggage up the stairs (5th floor in our case). The hotel smells of mildew, paint, and chemicals, because it suffered extensive water damage. The pool is not available. There was a woman sleeping with her luggage in the dining room. There were water stains running down the walls of our room. I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone until repairs are complete. It should be shut down until then.

First time coming here and maybe my review may be higher when renovations are complete but this place is a fair hotel in the outskirts of new Orleans. Rooms are very cozy Suite style rooms with a cute corner sink in the bathroom and a nice living room too. You had to use the stairs since the hotel is going under renovations. Plenty of great stuff to do too in walking distance. Fair breakfast too. Overall, not a bad place to check out.

I gave 1 star only because that was the lowest rating I could give. Upon arrival the elevator was not working. The elevator did not work the whole time I was there. My first room had water and mold on the bed. The pool was accessible. I asked for at least a refund on one night and the manager still has not contacted me back. There panel on the elevator was taken apart and exposed. It was not even closed off. Having to take the staircase all the way to the 5th floor which was the second room I was moved to because of the mold in the first room was a lot. Toting all that luggage up and down the staircase was just not convenient at all. There was breakfast which was ok and the front desk clerks were ok. The hotel was horrible.
