“My son and I went to the store on Magazine St. in March of this year. We were in town to see family friends and go to the Irish Italian Parade. I have always wanted to purchase from this store since my local friend told me about it years ago. The store looked amazing and had to many things and different price points to buy. But what I really appreciated is how they made my 7 year old feel special. It's the first big trip he could remember going on and he had his own money to spend. He picked out several things and the girls at the counter were so patient and talked to him like he was just any regular ol person coming in to make a purchase. He loved it. As for me who is from New Orleans but moved away years ago and lives in the Midwest, I loved getting things to bring back home that are unique and totally Louisiana. Great store and friendly employees.”

“Been going here for years. This place has everything Mardi gras, christmas, saints, and Halloween that you will ever need. I only wish they were open later in the evening around the holidays. With work it's hard for me to get there much before 6 or 7:00 at night most days. But this place is a family tradition and my daughter has grown up in that store. Excellent owners and management. Employees are always wonderful.”

I recently ordered a hat clip (Friday) and it arrived on Monday. Talk about fast shipping and customer service. They left the sweetest message and are very responsive on social media. “Fly Right Galaxy is the cutest little neighborhood spot for unique local gifts and art! They have a huge variety of art and geegaws for any friendly soul and the staff is super kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot!!! Conveniently located in Uptown, right off the block with Parran's, Creole Creamery, and Gracious coffee, also right next to King Pin which is a great local dive bar that often has food trucks and live music. I highly recommend checking out Fly Right Galaxy, you will not regret it!!! 10/10, 10 stars if I could!”

“Before Thanksgiving, sales associates helped me make a gift purchase for my sister and brother-in-law. While my sister and brother-in-law were looking at a small statue of a girl and boy running with a dog displayed in locked in glass on the back wall, I joined them. As they walked away from the display, I asked the sales associate to remove the item from the display so I could purchase as a gift for them. She rang the item up, I paid, and she wrapped the item in pretty tissue paper and placed in a bag with a ribbon tied into a bow. my sister and brother-in-law returned to the display and could not find the item they
decided to buy. I handed them the gift bag with a Christmas wish.”
